The Palatine Hill, Forum and Colosseum is 15 minute walk. Rosaria, the manager is very helpful and sweet. The other lady on duty is rude. Breakfast is ok, doesn't vary much each day. Room size is ok for a couple. Matress is saggym with bedmites. Shower door is just halfway, which is common in any hotels in Europe. Floor near the tub gets wet. .
Need your earplugs at night as you can hear the noise of the police and ambulance sirens, which always happens each night. No room service. No restaurants. Restaurants in the neighborhood do not offer good food. Did not feel safe dining out at night in the neighborhood Few street lights down the street. No night life around the neighborhood. Pricey for its location and service. I won't go back there again.

Stayed at Milton for a whole week and had a great time! The room was spotless, the air-condition worked well, breakfast was wonderful and the staff was helpful. A metro and two bus and tram lines located right across the street connected us to wherever we needed to go. Some major attractions are a walking distance away. Good worth for money!

Disadvantages: There is not much to do in the area at night. The nearby road could get noisy at night.
Nevertheless – a great deal

  • Liked — Great breakfast, good air-conidition, nearby metro, not expensive
  • Disliked — street could get noisy at night, no nearby attractions at nights

This is a Best-in-class hotel. Very clean and secure. Great central location, right by metro/trams/bus. Wonderful breakfast included. Only complaint is lack of Internet in the room. Nice people. Great Hotel for a World-Class city.

This popular hotel deserves its credit. Modern (newhotel formerly a convent). Quality rooms and service. Above all the price was good value. Book in advance as they are popular and usually fully booked. Loved the breakfast. Great for all types of travellers.

Its not far from either the main Termini station or the Colossium. Its next to the Manzoni subway/underground station which, at the time of our visit in Nov'06, had been closed for maintenance for several months. But its still only a 5-10 minute walk from the next nearest stop: Vittorio E.

  • Liked — New fresh fixtures and fittings, plus price
  • Disliked — That its nearest subway station was closed at the time of our visit.
  • Tips/Secrets: — Remember the subway system starts running down after 11pm.

I stayed here for one night. The hotel is in a good location but unfortunately is by a busy road junction with trams which meant I had a disturbed night's sleep. The bedrooms and bathrooms are small. The staff are professional and friendly. The breakfast was better than many Italian hotels.

  • Disliked — noisy road
  • Tips/Secrets: — ask for a room at the back of the hotel
