Really enjoyed my stay here for the purpose. For someone new to Rome even though it is close to some sights it might be a little out of the way and hard to find. I was adventurous traveling alone took to airport rail from the airport to Main Termini and hopped on the subway which wasn't too bad except once I got out it took a lil' asking around to find the place even with the map at hand since for anyone that's been to Rome it's not a grid system. The staff was nice to email and send me directions but still got lost. But through divine intervention, a nun walking on the street showed me the way after many "Mi scuzis" to other Italians around. Location: it's nice and quiet and appears to be more locals around. As far as places to visit, the first Catholic Catherdral in Rome is a few steps away. I was adventurous and took the lil' bus that went around the major sights, but do make sure you hop on the right bus, the hotel staff is a good resource to show you the best bus to take ..and again, be brave to bug a couple of nice Italian around which I did if you have questions.
As far as accomodations, I was in Rome really only one day to rest and sleep since I flew out to my next destination the next day. It was the perfect place, relaxing, quiet, and cozy. And for European room standards, quite roomy. I love the minimalist zen design, and the bathroom, again by European standards, is quite roomy and has all the basic amenities. As far as amenities, it's nice to have access to a computer/internet in the main area.
But what made this stay wonderful, is the staff who went above and beyond in making my short stay nice. It was nice to get the help I needed for rapid connections. And if you don't speak, Italian but is proficient in Spanish, you can communicate with the owners which was nice too.
I would highly recommend this cozy gem for those looking to stay outside the hub of tourist haven but is adventurous enough to experience the periphery of the outlying areas of the city and get a good night sleep or as for me ,a good day of rest and sleep!
