We had an excellent time in Rome. And Matisse was a great chooise too! Roberto was very kind with us. Unfortunatelly we was late more than an our, because our plane was late and we couldn't tell him. We arrived at midnight and Roberto was waitting for us at the front door. Our room was perfect for us. Small, but we had a private bathroom (the other rooms had own bathroom too, but they were out of the rooms). It was clean and nice and everything was close! We could use the kitchen any time and we could drink and eat what we found! Roberto and a Sunny was really nice and helpful!
I can recommend to everyone!

We knew Rome was going to be a treat, but staying at the Matisse was the icing on the cake. The Matisse offers all the delights of Rome within four walls - luxury, light, space and indulgence. It was a joy to step back into the welcoming environment with its helpful and friendly staff after taking in the sights of Rome. We would recommend it to anyone - a real treasure!

My friend and I spent a week explore Rome and we could not have found a better place to stay. The Matisse B&B on Via Nazionale is literally 2 street corners (1 min walk) from the Repubblica metro station, 10 minutes from the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fontain and the Coliseum. There are all sorts of delightful restaurants in the surrounding area as well as great shopping. The B&B itself is very tasteful in decor, as well as extremely clean and well maintained. The 24 hour access to breakfast is an added bonus and Roberto (owner) is the most gracious host ever. He really cares about his guests and goes the extra mile!

Our first wellcoming in Rome was by Roberto at his cozyy and inviting B&B.
The place (wich is more a hotel than B&B) is clean and beautiful and the fact that we arriverd at around 23:00 also provided a live evidence of how quiet it is.
Roberto was willing to give us as many ideas and recomondations as we needed and it was very helpfull. The breackfast is real fun and it is 24h (which was fun).
The real sourprise was getting up in the morning and discovering that we are 4 min' walk to the center of e v e r y t h i n g !
