This hotel is not near Rome, it is about an hour away from the center. So, it is not good for tourists. However, the hotel does offer a shuttle bus to and from the main train station within Rome (Roma Termini), it does cost about 10.00 I believe however, each time you ride the bus to and from downtown. You can however ride the city buses and subway and reach the hotel for about $3.00 each way if you know how to naviagate Rome and the Italian way of public transportation (would not recommend this for non-experienced Italian travelers or those who do not know the language of Italian). The subways are VERY crowded in Rome however, if you know where you are going and are street smart you should have no troubles. Also, do not be dumb and make sure you keep your money/ valuables safe with you. Anyways, the hotel has very little service staff for the restaurant. The price is good but remember how much you have to spend to get to and from Rome on a daily basis, breakfast is also NOT included in the price of the hotel room unless noted. The hotel is not "kept up" very well and is confusing to get around in. The restuarant attached to the hotel is super exspensive and the food did not look that appealing. You are better off going to the nearby Carrefour (name of supermarket chain) down the street to get food and drinks for a 1/4 the cost. Bottom line: don't stay here unless you HAVE TO, there are better hotels out there for the price.
