The hotel was in a central location near the Termini station which was convenient for the buses and the sightseeing hop on hop off bus. It was about 5 minutes walk to the Piazza Repubblica and about 20 minutes walk to the Piazza Venezia annd the Colosseum. Many restaurants and cafe's in the area. The hotel staff were very polite and friendly and the rooms were cleaned well on a daily basis. We had a triple room for our 5 night stay, which was slightly short on space but adequate for our needs. There was a selection of items available for breakfast, buffet style, which set us up for the day's sightseeing. Would recommend an early start when visiting the Vatican city to get there before the tour buses and the queues. I had my elderly parents with me and we discovered that over 65 UK residents can enter the colosseum for free on proof of ID. Not many public toilets and those that can be found are not pleasant to use. Very interesting city and thoroughly enjoyed it, even though the value of the pound made it quite expensive. PS the ice-cream was good!
