We lucked out in finding this hotel at the last minute. Cannot say enough about the staff, ambiance, décor, comfort and convenience of location. The little 'extra' touches like greeting us with water and individual tiramisu. A bottle of proseco left in our room. The order taking for egg preparation every morning at breakfast. The friendliness of the staff. You will NOT regret staying here!!

Arrived for 3 night visit. We have never had a welcome drink in roman ruins before. The staff have been so warm and welcoming the whole stay. We loved Barbara's cakes at breakfast. This is worth going to Rome for. Hotel is in a great location, Coloseum a few minutes walk away. Our room was delightful and done in great Italian style. You must visit you won't be disappointed x x

This is a lovely hotel, off the beaten track, but close to major attractions. The staff are delightful from the initial welcome at check-in (complete with the best tiramisu on earth!) to helping you with any question throughout your stay to ensuring that everything was perfect during your stay.

I have to point out a couple of wonderful instances. We had a tough day & needed a great place to have dinner. Azi at the front desk was wonderful! She asked questions regarding our likes/dislike, the type of ambiance we desired, types of foods/any allergies & gave several recommendations based upon her personal experience within several budgetary ranges. She recommended Aroma at a nearby hotel, which was a wonderful experience and helped salvage the day, making it one of the absolute highlights of an amazing visit to Rome.

The other thing I found charming was the breakfast. The staff was very attentive, although sometimes it may take awhile for our order to be delivered, they were always wonderful. the selection was amazing with top quality foods to start the day and some of the best coffee I have had during my travels around the world. Everything about the food is related to quality so waiting a little bit to ensure the order is correct is no problem!

Thank you to the entire team at the Inn at the Roman Forum! You were wonderful and I will happily recommend you to other travellers.

Room Tip: Next time, I will choose one of the rooms on the top floor for it's wonderful views over the roo...

We stayed here for the Ireland v Italy rugby in February and enjoyed it. It is very friendly and everyone is very helpful. We did have a problem with the heat of our first room - it seemed that the radiatior was jammed on and the portable aircon unit in the room didnt really help! And we like a very cold bedroom! However they tried their best to help us and moved us for our last two nights to a much cooler if more compact room! Rooms are fine - we went for the cheapest and it was small but well equipped with nice toiletries and towels. They are spread around quite a few buildings - we tried two without being in the main building. Breakfast was great - on one day we managed to eat under the patio heaters outside - it wasnt raining!!!! Lovely views from the terrace.

We arrived on a Thursday lunchtime in torrential rain - first question was where can we get lunch. We were pointed in the right direction and stopped at the first place we saw - cant remember the name but it was down the steps and straight ahead! Nice lunch and a glass or two of vino. Lots of restaurants within very easy walking distance - when you have been pounding the streets of Rome all day (especially with husband getting lost several times a day) we were not venturing far!
Had a couple of early evening drinks in the hotel - very nice with a small buffet but considerably more expensive than going to a local bar.

Highly recommend getting the hotel to organise airport transfers - it is very very hard to find!

Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a city break in Rome - nearly everywhere is within walking distance - or cab there and walk back which is what we did

Everything has been said in previous reviews. I'd like to add that the breakfast is amazing and especially the little homemade cakes.
One warning though, there are quite a few steps, deep ones with no handrails. If you have mobility difficulties this isn't the place for you. I have had knee replacements and struggled. There were also steep steps up to the bathroom in our room.
A charming hotel though.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a room that doesn't have steps up to the bathroom

My husband and I stayed here in March 2015 for three nights. We made our reservatons from the hotel with helpful insights including suggestions for a private car (our expense) to the hotel from airport which was agreed to do and turned out absolutely perfect! Additionally, the hotel made numerous reservations for us for dinner.

Upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted with a glorious upgrade to the Master Garden Suite. What a lovely room with french doors out to the garden area. This is a beautiful room with a massive bed and beautiful finishes and lovely linens. First night we slept til almost 10 am!

The attention to detail, bellman, breakfast and management staff, daily furnished breakfast and mid day buffet, extremely helpful and courteous staff were all but perfection. Honestly, you will love it here.

Beautiful common area living room with fireplace made the hotel extra special. We had breakfast here every day as it was raining. Coffee, any way you want it. Eggs just pick the style you want. Lavish buffet of all kinds of pasties, fruits, meats, cheeses. In good weather there is a quaint patio on the roof top. It has an amazing view of the city.

The property is exremely well located. You can walk to the Colosseum in about 10 minutes. The forum is maybe 3 minutes walking from the hotel. There is an unlimited amount of sites to see right from the hotel.

You won't go wrong with this lovely place. Something we might think is a downer. There is an elevator but it is made just for two! Cozy!

It is quiet, beautiful and a place you will feel safe and comfortable. Get the master Garden room or hope for a upgrade :)

We ate at Dar Poeta Pizza, which is about 20 minutes walk from the Hotel. Very, very small restaurant with great pizza, Ristorante Alfredo alla Scofa home of the original fettuccini also about a 20 minute walk fabulous and Osteria Corte Del Grillo about 1 minute walk from hotel. All of these restaurants I would recommend to you. Osteria Corte Del Grillo was my favorite and had been recommended by the hotel. Indulge, yo will be glad you did.

Without a doubt, if we come back to Rome it will be here at the Inn. Looking for a lovely spot look no further.

Room Tip: Can only speak to the Master Garden Room, #402 - That's the one for you!
