“Excellent hotel in the heart of rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 days ago NEW via mobile

Position is wonderful, rooms are amazing with a medieval style yet clean and with all modern amenities, staff is real kind. Really suggest the place to anyone wanting to stay in a nice place in rome. Breakfast service is amazing and served on the terrace with a view on the colosseum, internet is free and fast across the whole building.

We loved this hotel! We had a slightly larger hotel room which was great. The rooftop dining environment was great for breakfast and early evening snack and the food was plentiful. The service terrific and view unbeatable. The hotel was an easy walk to the coliseum and forum and metro.

Loved everything with this place. The location is perfect, practically inside the Roman Forum, We stayed in the apartment (208) and it was amazing ideal for a family like us or for a couple in honeymoon, you have all the comfort of a small luxury boutique hotel but at the same time you can feel the real Roman life in one of the best area of the city...Monti.

We loved the warm welcome of the incredible staff with a delicious homemade tiramisu and while the kind receptionist registered our document we visited the roman crypto oh my god it is really imprssive with the roman ruins and a little part of a roman mosaic inside just behind the front desk.

the apartmen, accurate in each details, is located on the 4th floor of the next building with two level and two separate bedrooms ideal for your privacy if you are a group of friends and two bathrooms with the cleaning service in the morning and the tourndown in the evening. So as you can imagine the cleanliness was impeccable!!!

the breakfast was incredible with a lot of variety and the kindly staff always smile and they was very kind with the child.

We want to say thank you to all the staff of this wonderful Inn and we truly hope to come back as son as possible. Higly recommended!!!

Room Tip: The apartment worth the price absolutely!!!!

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights at the end of November and had a wonderful time. Our room was located across the street and instead of seeing it as an inconvenience we loved having our own entrance and our own old fashioned key for our own old door..... very quaint. The room was lovely, the bed very comfortable and I loved the bathrobes, slippers and plush towels. The breakfast on the terrace was excellent. We would then eat a big lunch while out on our excursions and in the evenings return to the hotel terrace for a drink and just eat at the buffet there. Mornings and evenings were a bit chilly but we came from Germany where it was freezing and the warmer Roman evenings were a great change. We had the terrace to ourselves almost everyday and enjoyed our private evenings more than going to a restaurant. The location is excellent - in walking distance to every attraction yet hidden away in a back alley which makes you feel like you're living in a neighborhood like a "native".
The staff could not have been nicer and more helpful, especially Valentina at breakfast and Eddy and Alessandro in the evening.

This hotel is the perfect small hideaway in the centre of historical Rome. The accommodation is excellent, the staff charming and the food delicious. The location is perfect for all the sights of this beautiful city and the public transport system is also excellent. No need to hire a car to see Rome from this location. What more can one want?

Loved everything with this place. The location is perfect, practically inside the Roman Forum, and all attractions and sites are in walking distance, even to the Vatican state you walk in 40 minutes.
Our roomrate included a one way complimentary airport pick up, and it was a good idea as I am not sure it would be easy to find the hotel on our own. We had a very warm welcome, and an upgrade to a junior suite, which was a nice surprise. We were also welcomed with some tasty Tiramisu.

The room was lovely with a four poster bed, sitting area, jacuzzi and nice decor. There was also a complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us. There were safe, minibar, bath robe and slippers, hairdryer. If i should complain about something, the wifi connection was somewhat patchy. You had to move around the room to find the strongest signals. However, in Rome there is no time to waste on the internet, so I forgive that small hick up.

The room was very quiet, no traffic noise, but maybe some noise from hallway, but no big deal, there is only 12-14 rooms in the hotel.

Breakfast was very nice and with cold cuts, fresh fruit, eggs, juice, pastry etc, so something for everyone. They cook you eggs the way you want it, the same with coffee. We were so lucky with the weather this last weekend in November and could enjoy our breakfast on the terrace every morning. They have happy hour in the evening with a complimentary food buffet if you buy a drink, It was not too extensive, but a few enjoyable nibbles.

All the staff, reception to breakfast staff was wonderful, very helpful and with a smile. Upon departure we asked for assistance with booking airport transportation, and the lovely lady (sorry, I am not good with names) in reception carefully explained the options, taxi, train or private transportation arranged by the hotel. She was in no way pushing us into using the hotel service, but in the end we chosed doing that as it was convenient and not too expensive (Euro 55).

I hope to be able to stay here again next time I come to Rome.
