Wow! Just got back froma wonerful long weekend In Rome. I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and was pleasantly surprised. I spent a long time researching hotles in Rome, and found this at a great price. I shared the quad room with family, and it worked really well. Very, very clean and well proprtioned. The only possible problem with the room was that they do not have kettles, but hey,..it just made sure we had to suck up all that Italian coffee at the local cafes!! (great excuse!!)
The staff were extremely helpful and honest. We asked lots of questions and they were never too busy to talk.
The breakfast was basic, yogurt, cereal, pastries and rolls. But all were delicious, and for the price paid you cannot grumble. It mentions in the info that if you are leaving early in the morning you can ask for a breakfast pack-up. I forgot to ask, but on the morning, at half six casually asked if there was anything we could grab. The man on the desk was wonderful and allowed me to grab pastries and was only too pleased to offer me anything else he had at that time.
The hotel is in a good location, useful for the metro and a great little shop opposite.
I will defintely use this hotel when I return to Rome, which I will undoubtedly do!

  • Liked — Good staff, great location
  • Disliked — Lift a bit scary, and noisy outside when window wide open.

My partner and I stayed here for a week in July. We decided on this hotel after A LOT of searching and I am very glad we chose it.

It is a lovely hotel, with helpful english speaking staff and a great location. It is a 10 minute walk of Termini, 1 minute was to the metro station Castro Pretorio and about 15 minute walk to Republica where there are some tourist .

Our room was very spacious and everything was very well looked after and clean. Rooms were serviced everyday.

The breakfast is the standard continental breakfast of pastries, cereal, ham, chesse, bread rolls, youghurts and fruit. Which was all fresh and fine, because we weren't expecting anything more.

There is also a supermarket across the road which came in very handy, we bought bottles of water from here and just stored them in the fridge in our room, to take out with this us each day...which definitely works out cheaper than buying water whilst you are out an about!

As for dinner, there are a few restaurants in the surrounding area.

We were very happy with our stay, it was very easy to get to all the tourist attractions and would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for two nights in June. This hotel is quite close to the Roma termini station..about 5 minutes walk. We had a pleasant stay here..the rooms were just about the right size..not too big or too small. The best part was the airconditioning with remote control..i would say AC is must in Rome in summer. Breakfast was just average .. but it didnt bother us much. Overall nice experience and good value for money!

This hotel was nice and clean, but it wasn't anything special. It seems hard to find a good hotel for a good price in Rome, and this worked well for us. It was nice to be so close to Termini for arriving and departing from Rome, but the hotel's close location to the metro stop is not really as big of a bonus as it appeared at first. The metro system in Rome is not great -- we really just took it to the Colosseum and back from the Spanish Steps. It doesn't go to a lot of the other main tourist spots in Rome, so the metro was not very useful.
The hotel had air-conditioning, which was a definite must in June, as Rome was blistering hot. There's not really an outstanding feature of this hotel, but it was nice, clean, and worked. If you can afford it, get closer to the city though, so you'll spend less time walking than we did!

We stayed at the Dolomiti one night because of its location near the train station, as we had to catch a 10 am flight back home the next day. The hotel is four easy blocks from Termini and the location was perfect for us. The room was very nice and very clean, all recently renovated with a large bathroom and a very good shower. There was also a small bar fridge, which was very convenient. We were very grateful for the air conditioner, as it was very hot in Rome at the end of May. Staff was very helpful, and they packed a breakfast for us to take along. There are many good restaurants and pizzerias right around - we ate a wonderful pizza at a little restaurant nearby, I wish I could remember the name. We would certainly stay there again.
