This hotel was nice and clean, but it wasn't anything special. It seems hard to find a good hotel for a good price in Rome, and this worked well for us. It was nice to be so close to Termini for arriving and departing from Rome, but the hotel's close location to the metro stop is not really as big of a bonus as it appeared at first. The metro system in Rome is not great -- we really just took it to the Colosseum and back from the Spanish Steps. It doesn't go to a lot of the other main tourist spots in Rome, so the metro was not very useful.
The hotel had air-conditioning, which was a definite must in June, as Rome was blistering hot. There's not really an outstanding feature of this hotel, but it was nice, clean, and worked. If you can afford it, get closer to the city though, so you'll spend less time walking than we did!

We stayed at the Dolomiti one night because of its location near the train station, as we had to catch a 10 am flight back home the next day. The hotel is four easy blocks from Termini and the location was perfect for us. The room was very nice and very clean, all recently renovated with a large bathroom and a very good shower. There was also a small bar fridge, which was very convenient. We were very grateful for the air conditioner, as it was very hot in Rome at the end of May. Staff was very helpful, and they packed a breakfast for us to take along. There are many good restaurants and pizzerias right around - we ate a wonderful pizza at a little restaurant nearby, I wish I could remember the name. We would certainly stay there again.

I just returned from a 10 day trip to Italy with my husband. We had booked another hotel in Rome in the Termini area but when we arrived there we did not like it at all (Hotel Romae). We checked other hotels close by and chose this one. They offered us a very good rate and gave us a triple room (probably the only one they got). The room and bathroon were very comfortable, quite big, very clean. We were very satisfied with everything. The service was good (do not expect much help with vists and tours, though). Breakfast was also very good. The last day, the person in charge of breakfast overheard us reserving a taxi to the airport at 5.00 am and she offered us a breakfast package and leave it in the fridge in our room, very nice!

We were a family with teenage children staying too nights at this great hotel. It is very near to the main railway station Termini, ten minutes walk and the metro station is 100 meters from the entrance. We paid €316,00 in four for two nights in one room.

We room was clean, quiet and big enough. The television had also some channels in English. The bathroom was big and clean. There is some traffic in the street bus as soon as you close the window you don't hear anything. Also you heard hardly anything from the other rooms or the corridor.

Breakfast is a buffet with good "cappuccino" or American coffee, tea, juice, brioches, yogurt, cereals that you can have as much as you want. There is also some bread and jam.

You can use internet to check your e-mail or the latest events in the city without extra payment. They also keep your luggage without charge if you have the train leaving late.

The area is very good, you can easily reach the restaurants by foot without problems also in the evening.

The personnel is very polite and helpful; you get advice and suggestions for any question you may have.

I recommend this hotel for anyone and specially for those moving with the public means (train, metro).
