We were 7 girls who just have been to Rome for five days and what at beautiful city, unfurtunal the hotel was not what we had expected. When we arrived in the evening at 7:30 we couldent get something to eat at the hotel resturant, we were told that we should had booked for a meal before our a arrivel (even though people were still dining in the resturant)???? The hotel had forgotten to book one room for 3 persons and had problems to find at suitable room, so we had to live in to different houses All the rooms were small and we did`nt had any place to put our luggage, the shower was so small and there were no space to put our soap, you would have problems if you are a overweight person. When we complanined over the rooms to the front portier, he told us that was how all the rooms looked like, and the rooms on the intenet where we had booked our trip, was pictures from at first class room.
In the mornings at the resturant, we had to wait more than one time for bread, eags, coffee, butter, the buffet were always half full with breakfast
At the first evening at the hotel we went to at resturant near the hotel on the right side at the hotel were had at perfect meal and the stab was nice, the evening after on the front portier recommendation, we went to a resturant alos near the hotel called Birbante (DONT GO THERE) and we had an awfull meal, my grilled beef were done and oliee and when i complained over it the waiter got very angry and shouted. I´t was at very bad experince. Me and my friends are normaly not persons who complains over hotels and resturants, but our trip to Rome were a bad experince.

This hotel is away from the main tourist areas of Rome, it's a short bus trip (bus stop across the road) or you can walk 10 mins to the metro which isn't as safe. The bus does stop at a certain time of night which can be restrictive if you don't want to catch a taxi.
I think it's nice to catch a bus as you can get a bareing on where you are in relation to everything.

The room was a decent size the floors tiled so not particually cosy but clean. bathroom was also clean but the shower very small. We had to ask for more toilet paper at the front desk as we ran out.

Breakfast was the best we experienced throughout our tour of Europe. A lovely selection of cold meats, cereals, juice, fruit, yogurt, pastries, bacon and scrabbled eggs.

We ate dinner there one night as part of our tour, I wouldn't recommend it. There's all of Rome to choose from, no need to eat locally.

After reading alot of the reviews on trip advisor and other websites, we decided to take our chances and book here. I really dont understand what all the fuss was on some of the poor reviews that this place got!!?? I have worked all my life in the hotel industry and I can tell you I would definatly recommend this place as a base to stay when visiting Rome. We ( two couples) spent 3 nights at this hotel, and we where pleasantly suprised at the high standard of service we recieved. Yes, the bedrooms are small,( very small) but this is Europe and we had all the creature comforts. The bedrooms where spotless and nicely decorated in modern neutral sober tones, and the bathroom was the same high standard with a great hot, power-shower. The Hotel itself was set in a lovely area in Rome, away from the loud traffic noises, literally an oasis of greenery in the city centre and is easily accessible by the local bus and metro system into the main tourist areas. A big plus was that the hotel doesnt charge for Car parking, and the car was parked in a well lit secure area, and we would leave the car at the hotel and catch the bus and metro to see the main sites. The breakfast was a fantastic suprise, as they actually do the hot breakfast, of bacon, scrambled eggs and sausage as well as an extensive buffet of fresh fruit, pastries, coffees, yogurts, cold hams and cheeses and cereals, and the fruit juices where the lovely freshly squeezed variety. We chose the hotel mainly for the price and its location ( we paid €75 per room per night incl breakfast) Another plus factor was the fact that the hotel was not that far from the airports, Ciampino and Fiumicino, about 15 minutes by car. We originally booked only two nights at this hotel, as we where travelling on up to chianti and verona for a further weeks holiday, but on our return to Rome to catch our flights we took a chance and managed to secure another nights accommodation at the same price as before, and the service and standard was how we remembered it. It is the ideal hotel for people who are not full of airs and graces, or expect to be waited on hand and foot. It is ideal as a base, clean, modern, and comfortable. What more could anyone want.

For a sight seeing tour the hotel was great, out of the city and if you were near the metro cheaper food. We got off before the recommended stop where there were some shops and a reasonable choice of restaurants where we paid about 12 Euros for a meal and a bottle of wine.
