“inaccurate information in the hostel website”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2012

on the contrary to what is mentionned on their website, the breakfast is absolutely not included. the room we had was not in via Calatafimi but in via Castelfidardo which is much louder.
Sheets are not totally included but a kind of blanket is at disposal. there are 5 beds in a room and not 3 as it is written when booking the room.
the price is really reasonable for Rome but there are a lot of inaccurate information in the website and upon booking.....

Firstly there is zilch signage out on street so I spent wasted time walking round in circles (this is really an apartment in a block and no signage avoids tax I was told). Not really a proper hostel ie. no common area to chill out; small dirty kitchen; tiny toilet & shower cubicles; unreliable hot water; beds are old and no covers on doona's; staff are not interested; one laptop for internet use if you cna get it off one of the managers who is using it; archaic lift to floor; dorms are left unlocked by cleaning staff; no lockers.
In short, it should be closed down as a bad joke. Stay at your peril.

Room Tip: forget it. It ruined my first week stay in Rome as I was stupid enough not to check facilities and...

We were told on arrival that our room was cancelled and we would have to pay more than double the amount if we wanted a private room. We could have a dorm room at the same price but as part of a honeymoon this was definately not acceptable.

This hostel if you can even call it that has been without a doubt the worst place we have stayed at. the place was crawling with bed bugs, the man who greeted us when asked if he liked rome said 'no the tourists annoyed him' (actually pretty funny really), the toilet didnt work and we were moved from the hostel to a dingy little apartment. DO NOT STAY HERE. we would have tried to get our money back but we left at three in the morning to head to the airport.

The worst hostel we've stayed in! When we woke up the whole bed, including our own sheets were filled with bedbugs :( . We managed to stay one more night but left because it was so disgusting! They were everywhere, also on the walls! Furthermore there was only one knob on the stove, the toilet was broken and it was ' raining ' inside.. We left two nights earlier than expected, we did get our money back though, for the other two nights.

There are almost no other travellers, fromt he 10 beds only 4 were taken! That has a reason!
Better to just pay a little more than stay here and have problems with bedbugs the whole vacation!!

DON'T GO HERE!!

We arrived at the address emailed to us only todiscoverthat we were housed in a "unit" in a seedy part of town near Termini. No signs on any of the buildings so call before you leave the train station or airport. We were very close to transport and sights. Hop on hop off bus close to termini but get a map and walk the back streets.

Room Tip: Check pics if possible.

Stayed in Rome for two nights and on a budget so decided to stay at the hostel in a private room. After checking in at the main hostel we were taken to the private room which is actually based 15 min walk away in an apartment, in not the nicest part of town,
The room had no heating or hot water, bedding was minimal and bed was sunken in the middle. There was no free breakfast as advertised and the noise from other guests/residents of the apartment was horredously loud.
I have travelled the world and i'm not very fussy with my accommodation but i would not reccommend this place!
