First of all i would not recomend anyone to stay here period ! , unless you have no standards or just need a roof over your head , service is slow and next to none , rooms aka bungalows are damp and need doing up ,beds are un comfey and the place has no entertainment honsetly i would never stay here again.

Room Tip: dont stay here unless you have a campervan

We stayed three nights with our grand daughter, The bungalow smelt of dampness,a slug was on the bathroom floor , and another in the lounge. The chipboard bathroom furniture was rotted top and bottom. The hob was past its sell by date ,the the fan extractor was broken. Outside the deck was covered with lino ,so it was always wet, half had been replaced and the join strip was loose. Cats roam the site, and fight. I was charged 372 Euros for the three nights ,which I consider very poor value. My advice, look for another site.

Room Tip: Don't choose bungalow No 8.

We stayed there 3 days 2 nights with our family. For the price, it was mediocre. The trailer bungalow was a little runned down. Bathrooms need renovation as the cocking in the shower was just dangling and turned yellow due to usage. The two bathrooms were moldy. Good thing, AC was very cold on hot nights. Bad, constant dog barking as if there was a dog farm next door whhere the farm was. Not sure if we felt safe with just a curtain covering our glass patio door. Pool was nice for the kids after a long day sight seeing. Unfriendly staff. Found the mandatory swim cap (that you HAVE to buy) was a little ridiculous. You pay for the wifi, it hardly connects. It's good that you can cook there and there are two separate bathrooms. We left our iPad there near the bed. Once we realized we emailed the office as the iPad tracker indicated its still there. We received an email back saying they'll ask the housekeeper and get back to us! We emailed them three times more after that, called them twice. We received the same response. Till today, we have yet to hear from them. So, I guess one house keeper is enjoying our precious family pictures. What's done is done. Integrity goes a long way. May I add, on our numerous drive home from Rome and sight seeing, many ladies of the night flock dark streets looking for the next bill. If you have kids, be careful. Or ensure theyre passed out before looping around to the village. They're not afraid to approach your car either (hence I selected 'night life').

Room Tip: I'm not sure if there are any good rooms!

The location is perfect. You travell by train to the center of Rome. But, the camping place is crowded, stressed and and unpersonal. People think that the camping road is is a race circuit. You best go the supermarket for food.
The reason for staying is Rome, that's all.

I was here with my bestfriend for 3nights,we came with her parents in caravan (they slept inside,we in a tent)...it was the best first camping experience...area is huge, trees are everywhere, common bathrooms look like roman spa, there is separated place to wash dishes and clothes...shuttle goes through day quite often....but its quite difficult to get to city by bus,cuz it arrives when it wants and back its even worse,we had to take a crazy taxi at night :-D its good place for those, who want to camping on high level, just relax and enjoy city through day-they wanna have quiet vacation or then for groups, they can share a taxi ;-)

This was my third stay at Flaminio.

I go there for the price. For 145 euro, we l stayed 4 persons in one bungalow. We had 2 separate bedrooms, both with follow bathroom facilities and a living/kitchen area.

From the last time, I was there I noticed a big increase in the frequency of the courtesy car from the reception desk to the bungalows. Still they need to work more in improving the reception desk.

Also, it is that far from the centre. With the city train north (from due ponti) it is just a 15 min drive to Piazza del Popolo. In the evening, however it might turn complicated since this train stop at 10;30. From than onwards, is a combination of buses & trams to reach the site.

Nonetheless, there are facilities to spend the evening there, from a restaurant, to mini-market, a bar. There is also a pool. Definitely, excellent for the price

I love this place we got see part of Italy that we wouldn't have seen if we stayed in the city it was nice enough simple but you got everything you needed. I found it easy enough either by train or by bus. If your on a budget this place is great its very cheap but still close enough to get in to Rome within about half a hour. Our Bungalow was cleaned every day and the staff although not many of them were very polite and helpful.
