My fiancé and I were arriving to Rome by train from Florence. We just needed a place to touch down for one night since we were flying out the next day. Hotel Camelia was exactly what we were looking for. The location was great, about 4-5 blocks from Termini (train) station (10 minute walk).
The room size was quite large, very clean, and modern décor. It was air-conditioned. The staff was very friendly and spoke good English. They offer quite a selection of tours that you can purchase directly from the front desk as well as entrance tickets to several popular museums and galleries. There are several good restaurants and bars near by.
I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again. Be careful though, the price fluctuates significantly depending on the site. I had seen it on Expedia and Travelocity for $200-225US but I booked it through a web site I had never heard of before, Versus, and got it for $99US.
