The hotel is really far from the centre of Rome. PLEASE DO NOT BE MISLED BY THE WHOLE SHUTTLE THING IT IS A BIG JOKE AND A COMPLETE LIE THERE IS REALLY NO SUCH FACILITY (YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO CALL AND TELL IT TO COME AND THEN SEARCH FOR IT ALL OVER THE PLACE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE).

The breakfast is also not good. Extremely hard and dry bread only no eggs or any thing good and little juice and that is all.

No shower curtain!!!!!! and the whole bathroom gets completely wet when you take bath.

The room is not bad but not good either.

  • Liked — The room is big
  • Disliked — no shower curtain and bad breakfast

stayed here for 5 days and it was too long!! this hotel is a complete disaster. when we got off the bus on the first day we were so disappointed!! the outside of the hotel is disgusting, we really wanted to turn and go home. the hotel is not well decorated, the receptionest man is so rude, shouted at us because we cudnt understand him. rooms are so basic, not clean, sheets were never changed on the beds -just made up instead. view from the hotel is horrible, it is like wasteground, with a few garage buildings and derlict houses!!! it was so hot wen we stayed here and the smell from the garbage bins outside was horrendous!!! the bar was tiny, we went to go in to it one night and there were 5 staff in it who just looked at us so we turned and walked back out. poppys pizza is behind the hotel, we went there pizzas were nice but lots of local teenagers hanging aorund the area, flying around on scooters shouting abuse at all the tourists. no shops in the area xcept for pam supermarket wer we picked up a fw bits to eat in the evenings. location was a pure disaster. about an hours journey in to rome. once ya come home in the evening there was no going back in to the city for the nite it was too late and we were to xhausted
just do not stay in this hotel!!! it has nothing to offer a tourist even though it is cheap.pick a hotel that is nearer to the city.

  • Liked — i did not like anything about this hotel
  • Disliked — the rooms, the location, the ignorant staff, the terrible view from hotel

After reading the reviews i was dreading coming to the hotel but all in all it wasn't as bad. the staff were excellent and the room was comfartable and cleaned everyday.
the hotel is situated miles away from the centre, although the metro is a bus ride away.
the problems is there is simply nothing to do in the evenings in that area, and is very boring. the restaurants that we did find in that area were poor. the breakfast in the hotel is poor, and dont be kidded into thinkin there is a gym, solarium, bar or restaurant cause there isnt!!
All in all rome is what you make of it, and if you just need a bed its ideal. be careful of taxi drivers (agree a price before hand) and also BEWARE the romans who will offer a picture and then try charging you (can be funny to watch though)
All in all Rome is culturally and historically superb and if you get a chance to tour with Dave (the new zealand tour guide) DO IT, HE IS FAB!!!!!!

well i booked this hotel for our anniversary and after reading the reviews, was really disapointed and tryed to change hotels.
we arrived aely in the moring and got a taxi from the airport to hotel, well that was a nerve jangler, DONT get in a taxi if your nervous !!!, they drive like idiots !!!, her charged us 30 euros, to get to hotel. booking in, the reception is very plain, and almost transport cafe style but receptionist was really nice and helpful, she sold us a transport ticket for 1 euro each which is good to go on bus and metro. room is very basic, but with mini bar, which to be honest is reasonable. walls a too thin, and we could hear another couple, who might i say were injoying rome a little too loudly !!! very uncomfortable.
rooms were keep clean, but traveling from hotel to rome center unless you know how to use the transport is a knightmare and is too far away for a sight seeing trip, as you spend too much time travelling. bus on main raod to anniania, then metro strat into terminni, simple when you know how !!. but overall hotel was ok. breakfast is cob and cheese, but coffe is fab, cappochino's but i would not book again, due to location.

We were there in December, over Christmas.
Overall it was a good experience.
It is true, that the hotel is not in Rome,
but the 507 bus takes you in ten minutes to the metro (underground) line A. Line A is impressively good looking line, compared with ugly line B. It also can take you to most sightseeing attractions (at least most of those we wanted to see).
The hotel itself is nice and safe. I liked top to bottom window.
Room was cleaned everyday, even on Christmas Day.
I wouldn't recommend to stay there on Christmas Day and try to see something (or someone) in Rome, because the transportation on this day is very limited.
The staff in the hotel is friendly.
The breakfast is not versatile at all, and it is nothing like continental breakfast in UK hotels, but coffee was really nice.
Fast Pizza Place near the hotel is convenient.
