Excellent place to stay, close to all atractions. We had a great room with great breakfast. The service was excellent as well, they even took care of getting a cab for us the morning we checked out.

A very good deal!

We spend 3 nights at this hotel and it was so great. The receptions were so kind and caring. Our room also had a very beautiful terrace. The breakfast was so good and everyday they put a basket of fresh bread and cornetto behind the door and they were so delicious :) it was my first time in Rome and i liked it very much there.

We stayed 2 nights at AENEA. The hotel is just 5-10min walk from the main train/bus station on a very Italian style street which leads to the Coliseum. The hotel was very private, cozy and homey. The staff was very friendly and welcomed. The room was very specious, clean and well furnished. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the breakfast. The idea of having a basked left at your door without being disturbed is amazing (we loved having breakfast in our room). However, we wished we had some ham and cheese together with the Italian bread and butter that was included. We are not fans of sweet breakfast, so eating bread/ croissant with jam and nutella wasn't ideal. Other than that - everything was perfect and we will definitely be going there again! Thank you AENEA team.

Room Tip: New wing - 1st floor!!!

I've never been to Rome and don't speak Italian. After reserving I had second thoughts because there is no desk to ask questions whenever you want. But the reviews were very good. And I survived and prospered. So add me as a fan. I traveled solo, and they gave me a single which suited me. Very clean. Loved the towel warmer, and fridge. The room safe was handy. Quiet side street ten minutes from Termini, the central bus and metro station.
I called a few weeks in advance to confirm my booking. They sent me an email with directions. Tell them when you are coming. The gentleman was very helpful upon my arrival and provided orientation and transportation tips.
As far as getting here from Termini, it's only ten minutes away. I get lost in a paper bag, and I get disoriented easy. So I wandered for an hour . Problem is, street signs are lacking. Look on the corners of the buildings for names. For dummies: if you come in on the Leonardo express, the signs will point you to an exit on Via Giovanni/Giolatti. When you exit Termini onto Via Giovanni/Giolatti, turn rt and go up the street until you come to the end of the Termini building where there are many buses and cabs and it is lit up.This is Piazza Dei Cinquecento. Then look across the street and Via Cavour is right there. Follow their directions from there and it's easy. I didn't know what a piazza was or how big it was, and took a left too soon. This Piazza you can't miss if you walk far enough.
This place is quaint and gives you the feeling of small apartment building and not a hotel. I highly recommend it.

It seems that someone really sensible listed down the elements of what a good hotel should be for tourists in Rome and executed it well. These apartments in a quiet building in a good location in Rome had everything good, with little things done just right. The rooms were newly renovated. The complimentary basket of goodies from the juice, biscuits, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, butter in the ref, an in-room espresso machine, the flat-screen tv, free wifi, complimentary chocolate on the pillows, and the basket of bread left outside your room for breakfast. There was nobody in the front desk but you can ring for one and they come quickly. Rooms cleaned everyday. Simple yet everything's just right, sensible with pleasant surprises. It felt good going back to the hotel after a tiring day walking around Rome. Have them arrange for a pick-up from the airport- it's worth it.

A friend and myself visited Rome for 3 nights and we stayed at the Aenea mainly because of the reasonable price. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived even though our impression from the outside was a little daunting. The staff were all very nice and helpful, even allowing us to use their computer to book tickets for The Vatican. Our room was quite small but had everything we needed and we both enjoyed the basket of croissants and rolls delivered to our room each morning. It is in easy reach of a lot of the attractions and close to restaurants and bars.
I would recommend this hotel and definitely return myself.
