“Good friendly location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2012

Stayed 4 days in July. Had requested a quiet room and it was perfect. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The owners are very helpfull and the hotel is well located close to train station and metro access.

We will likely return on our next visit to Rome.

There is better hotels in Rome, bu this was ok.
We stay here for a week back in May 2010.
Had a little difficulty with the language barrier on check and some other issues, plus it was late and we was greatful to get to bed, finally. Room was hugh, way too big for 2 people but not complaining
Breakfast is nice and there was plenty.
Located near to the worlds best ice cream parlour with so many varieties to choose from. Open till late most nights.
Locations wise not great, near to the main station. had to ge metro or tour bus to all attractions every day all day.

The hotel was more of a hostel. The people that worked there were nice but the area is a real dump. While it is relatively close to the Termini train station, it is not walkable if you have luggage. We tried it and it took about 15 minutes. Not fun. The area is basically Rome's version of Chinatown with building after building covered in graffiti. The rooms are clean and the AC worked, but I wouldn't stay there again. Just as a reference point we are an American couple in our 30's.

We were very warmly welcomed by the staff there, nothing was too much trouble. The room was great very pleased indeed, clean fresh and tidy, nice balcony over looking the city sights, nice courtesy bottle of Vino enjoyed to unwind. Breaskfast was too much infact we made our lunch from breakfast which was no problem.. Will for sure be staying again...Many Thanks

Room Tip: Close to Rain so it was easy to find, only a short walk....

We booked this hotel based on the amazingly +ve reviews
when we arrived in the area it was clear that the general area is v grungy and we were warned that it is not safe to be out there at night -- robberies etc are known to happen
The room we were shown was basic and clean and the staff were friendly but the building had odors and graffiti and was quite unattractive
We arrived at the hotel within 1 hour of booking through hotels.com, just to check it out since we were already in the area and were leaving Rome to return 2 days later. We did this primarily because someone warned us that we had booked in an area to be careful of.
On seeing the place, we did not want to stay there
Unfortunately, hotels.com and the hotel would not refund our money even though we were just shy of 72 hours notice which they wanted. I pointed out that we had just barely booked the hotel, and the desk person told us they had only one room available in 3 days for our stay.

While I cannot comment on the stay, I would like to warn other travelers of the policies of the establishment and the conditions of the building and the surrounding area

Room Tip: Off the street -- the street is quite noisy

Good B&B . Budget hotel, well located , clean , comfortable and fairly large .Wi-fi is available . Breakfast is not elaborate but good . The best thing about the room is the attached balcony overlooking the road. You can sit out and have a smoke . The Chinese restaurant nearby is reasonable and food is excellent . there is a super market nearby and a " Chicken Hut ' where food is delicious and cheap. The nearbygelato stall is supposedly the oldest in rome. The old man at the reception is kind and superb . He packed a small breakfast for us since we left early morning at 6am and bf starts at 7am. The bus and tram stops are opposite the hotel . Good stay !!

Room Tip: Take a room with a balcony

Stayed here for 5 nights. This hotel was well located for seeing the attractions of Rome, within an easy walk of the main historic centre and with tram/metro links to other sights such as the Vatican. The room was clean and attractive, with tall ceilings and double doors onto a balcony overlooking a side street, and had comfortable beds. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and as we had requested a vegetarian breakfast they always made an effort to add little extras to the breakfast buffet for us. Good value (compared to other Rome prices!), we would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Room Tip: Quiet rooms on the side street, but the rooms overlooking the main street seemed to be sunnier.
