Stayed here with two friends for a total of three nights. We had a bit of trouble actually finding the property as it's in more of a quiet residential courtyard just off the main road and the buzzer isn't labeled as a B&B. But after buzzing every bell in the building and finally connecting with the B&B, we were pleased with the room. We had a private bathroom that was just outside our actual room, and things were clean and tidy. The B& B consists of three or four rooms in a small hallway along with a common kitchenette that is available for simple use. Valter and Clara were very hospitable and Clara was there bright and early every morning with our breakfast on a little trolley to take in our room. Clara spoke very little English, but Valter's was pretty good- he was able to give us some helpful information. I'd reccomend knowing some Italian or Spanish to communicate effectively. :)
Though the area isn't right in the middle of the main sights of Rome, it's VERY close to the Vatican (just cross under the street and you're there). There are also many bus lines that run right along the main road that can take you anywhere you need to go (Piazza Venezia, Termini, Trastevere, etc.). The metro A line is about a 7-8 block walk from the hotel, and you must walk right through Piazza San Pietro to get there, so that was pretty cool! There were also a few trattorias/cafes in the immediate area, and my favorite gelato, Capitan Cono, just a block up the road.
Overall, a good experience staying here in Rome- would recommend it and would stay here again.
