Spent 3 nights here in June'07. Valentina(the host) organised an airport pick-up for us 4 people in total which cost us 40 Euro(10 Euro a head). We we're a little confused when we we're dropped off as the B&B is a room in an apartment(cleverly done). The rooms are large and spotless clean with a mini-fridge with a twist, the twist being the contents of the fridge you know the usuals from hotels bottled water soft drinks, couple of beers are all at supermarket cheap prices. Beer was about 1 Euro Water was less, nuts crisps etc great feature. The 2 Bathrooms are shared between 3 guestrooms and are spotless clean & well fitted out. Breakfast is plentyful although Valentina will ask you what you want for breakfast from a checklist almost military style.
Valentina is great to chat to her English is quite good and she's at hand to recommend restaurants and etc.
If you are sight-seeing in Rome you should get the ROMA PASS ask Valentina about it. This is a 3 day Bus and Metro pass and also gives you free access into the Coloseum and other Museums around Rome including a free map of the city. Also in some of the museums around the city there are express queues specifically for the Roma Pass so no longs queue waiting in the searing hot sun, it costs 20 Euro. There a number of bars local to the B&B that sell hot food and a few small stores you can find some good bargains, as you won't find any bargains in the shopping areas of Rome. Don't go to any bars or restaurants near major sights in Rome quality & service is much poorer and usually a rip-off, and there is as you might expect a lot of tourist traps near major sights. Where the B&B is, is ideal, a bus stop around the corner, cheaper prices at bars, restaurants, quiter, and minutes from the city center of Rome. Taxi to the center is about 10 to 14 Euros. I think it cost about 40 Euro per night per person which is great value for Rome. I've been to Rome a few times and I'll never stay in a hotel there again Angetode B&B is the ideal place to stay.
