We recently returned from our trip to Europe which ended with 2 nights at Casa di Iginia e Paolo. Paolo was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. He provided maps and information on buses in the area and a restaurant recommendation that we enjoyed. Paolo even arranged a private car for us to get to the airport on our final day when we said that we wanted to try that rather than getting to the train station (which would have been just fine too).
We had a room with a private bathroom that was all very clean. Water pressure was not as strong as we are used to in Canada but still okay. There was plenty of hot water, but it did take awhile to get hot (be patient, it will come!). Breakfast was typical European continental with coffee, bread, pasteries and cheese.
There were only a couple minor downsides. There was no air conditioning, although there were large windows that could be left open over night and a powerful ceiling fan. There was not a TV in the room ... but really who wants to be hanging out in their room watching TV when you have all of Rome to explore! There were plenty of stairs to climb which might be an issue if you arrive with a large amount of luggage or have mobility issues.
Definitely reasonable for the price.
