We loved our stay in Da Roy's B&B. He was very friendly and helpful. On our arrival, he made us very welcomed. He spent 30 mins showing us around his apartment. There were plenty of fruits, fruit juice, milk, cakes, breads, jam and butter for our 6 days stay at his place. We rented the whole apartment so we didnt need to share the bathroom. The kitchen is separated from the bedrooms, hence the smell from the cooking doesnt get into the rooms. The only thing I would say is the shower hasnt got any power and sometimes it alternates hot and cold water. But hey! which hotel has got power shower apart from 4/5 stars. The area is very close to the metro, about 5 mins walk and it takes 20 mins to get to spanish steps. We found out that if you were going to be in Rome for more than 5 days, it is worth buying €16 ticket for a whole week. The area is very close to 3 supermarkets, which dont accept foreign credit cards so make sure you have cash. It is cheaper to get the train to termini then to Da Roy's, cost about €12/pax, otherwise it is €50 for a cab from the airport. There are 2 internet and phone shops next door, cost €1/hour for internet. We were a little cautious when walking back at night but it wasnt as scary as we thought it would be. Overall, it was a nice and pleasant experience. It's definately worth it!!! ---> Stalybridge, UK
