My fiancee and I stayed here 2.5 years ago and I still can remember what a great B&B it was. We recommened it to some friends of ours who just stayed there in Oct and they agree that it is great!!!
The breakfast was wonderful and in a common area which was really nice to meet other travellers!
Fabio was helpful!!!
Booked it on venere.com http://www.romeby.com/federici/
Location was perfect!
2 minute walk to the Vatican, Sistine chapel, Museums.
Right on the subway line.
Buy tickets for the Sistine chapel before hand to ensure that you can actually get in to see it. Must wear appropriate clothing, covered shoulders, etc.
We hopped on the subway all the way to the Collosseum. Then walked back stopping at these sites: palatino, foro romano, piazza venezia, mon a vittorio emanuele, foro di traiano, trevi fountain, pantheon, piazza navona, castel s tangelo.
We bought tickets just down the street from the cCllosseum so we didn’t have to wait in line. A little booth down the street called via di san gregorio. It is where the locals buy their tickets.
Great! Beautiful city!
