“An Experience to Remember!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2012

Fiocca B&B was quite charming to say the least. Every moment I spent there, though brief, was an unforgettable esperienza! Not only were the accommodations clean, quite, and authentic, the host Andrea was extremely personable and welcoming. I felt at home as soon he greeted me with a huge smile! Anyway - I'll ramble on and on, blah blah blah!!!! Stay here, it is a fabulous place! I know - trust me!

Room Tip: The big one with the balcony overlooking the gorgeously landscaped courtyard is one of my favorite...

“Cost effective B&B in Rome”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2011

I stayed at Fiocca for 3 nights and it was a coll place to be. The owner of the house knows english which is a positive and advantageous for anyone. There is a single toilet for all the 3 bedrooms that Fiocca can offer which is sometimes to think. But if you are a bachelor, then you can go and stay in the hotel without any concern. Lepanto Metro station is walkable and all the heritages such as the colloseum, roman forum, St. Peter Basillica, fountain etc are all walkable situated within a distance of 3 kms. Take a map of Rome with you else it will be difficult to get to know the road if you are there for the first time.

Room Tip: room close to the toilet would be a good choice.

“A serene and affordable home away from home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2009

I stayed at B&B Fiocca on my first night in Rome. After a 20-hour plane flight I was not feeling very alert and it took me some time to find the right building, but having identified it, getting into the building was easy.

The building is a large one located on the piazza; there is a small parking lot in front of the building, and a small restaurant has tables and awnings on the sidewalk nearby. If you're standing in front of the building at the main gate, you will find the buzzer for Fiocca on the panel to your left.

Fiocca is located in a tranquil neighborhood with few tourists. All of the rooms face the inner courtyard of the building and are well-insulated from traffic noise. The rooms are clean and the furnishings are comfortable and functional.

Andreo, the proprietor, is a very friendly and knowledgeable person. I had a great time talking to him and he was full of suggestions about what to do and see while in Rome.

I will definitely be staying at B&B Fiocca whenever I visit Rome in the future.

“Cool place, but not for Princess' (or Princes for that matter)!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2009

No frills - but I wasn't in my room much (in fact I just slept there, and went out all day and most of the night!).

It was very clean, the owner is very friendly and the area is so much nicer (and safer) than the Termini where you'll find other budget rooms.

You need to realise that this really is like staying in someone's house, which I much prefer to a horrible chain hotel or hostel. The bathroom although shared is very clean and for me no trouble not to have my own on-suite.

Lepanto metro is close (5 mins) and N5 buses run all night so it's no trouble getting home. However saying that the 'cool' places are easily walkable if you don't mind using your legs.

If you're not a Princess (or Prince) expecting a fairytale experience, I think you'll be very happy.

“Quiet and friendly B&B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2007

The B&B was very nice and the room was very quiet, because it was facing the patio. It has shared bathroom and the breakfast is made by the owner, who is very nice. He speaks English, which was a big advantage. The building was impressing. The owner is basically renting out his rooms. Close to bus, subway, you can walk to the Vatican. We even walked home all the way from the city. Simple, but very clean and friendly.
