We booked Eva's Rooms based on our impressions of their website. We were pleasantly surprised to find that Eva's Rooms was all that it had been made out to be on the site.
The Location is truly unbeatable. Situated just a stones throw away from Piazza di Spagna, Trevi Fountain, The Shopping on Via Condotti, and within very easy walking distance of the Colosseum, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Termini Station... you name it!! The 116 bus to the Vatican stops on the steps of Eva's, which is handy.
Our group stayed in both the Standard room and Junior Executive suite. The rooms are well appointed, clean and spacious. The frescoes were an added bonus. The accomodation really was a lot more then one would expect from a B&B. However one downside would be the size of the shower cubicles, not really a problem for us, though i could imagine one getting into a spot of bother bending down to pick up the soap.
Breakfast was served in the room and was basic, consisting of sugary croissants, juice, toast and the option of either caffe Italiano or Americano. Not an issue, as you are virtually surrounded by an array of Italian culinary choice, to suit all budgets. ***Remember to specify the time you would like breakfast to be served each day, else it will be served at the default time of the first days breakfast***
The hosts were phenomenal. Very friendly and more then willing to assist with our various requests. Much more of a personalised approach then that to be found in many a five star hotel we have stayed in.
I would definitely recommend Eva's Rooms to anyone looking for a quality B&B in Rome. We'll be back when next in Roma.
