“A good clean friendly hotel in a great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2014

A good clean friendly hotel in a great central location. The Piram is a short walk from the main rail station. Once we arrived we were warmly welcomed by possibly the tallest receptionist ever. Our room was a good size with plenty of pretty furniture, a large bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet. The room was comfortable, we didn't use the air con or heating as it was a comfortable temperature. TV with options for different languages and extra charge for films. The mini bar was well stocked with even a little space to pop our own drinks in, no drink making facility in the room so a place to put drinks was needed.
After a good nights sleep the breakfast was more than we had expected as we expected a continental, there was scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages as well as the continental options plus cakes and pastries These options remained the same while we were there.
The staff were helpful the room was cleaned to a high standard and for the price we were very pleased with our choice.

Its very close to main rail station and central to the city.clean tidy room to have resting sleep after long day of sightseeing. All other basic fascilities for a hotel available. Could do with improving the breakfast.

Agree the location is great for the rail station but that's it! As for being 4 stars that's a joke. Probably 2 stars compared to rest of Europe! Room too hot for February and impossible to change heat had to sleep with window open which was noisy! Room not cleaned to a good standard, dirty cups left unwashed or replaced. Bedding very tired looking and furnishing very dated. Wardrobe a wooden bar which was close to breaking with weight of coats was a curtain pullover... Directions to hotel were poor. Told to exit train station at Via Masala but hotel is actually the other side of the station which was annoying late at night with a neighbourhood of homeless & immigrates! Surrounding area provides good choice of restaurants. Hotel breakfast - rubbish. Only one person on reception, so expect long wait to check in or if you have a query.

A bit of a dated hotel...but the location is killer...you literally walk 3 minutes to the Termini, which allows you to get anywhere...my room was fairly basic, but a great bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

The location of the hotel is really good! It is just mere moments walking away from the termini (metro). The rooms are really small and there is no space to hang or store any clothes. It is hot in the room, even mid winter, with no possibility to adjust (airco is broken), apart from opening the window with a really dirty view of the inside square. The water from the shower is impossible to get up to a constant temperature or pressure, it fluctuates between too hot and freezing cold. At 1am we've had a lot of noise, of what looked like chairs being rearranged in the restaurant below. This kept us awake for quite some time! Personnel at the desk was really friendly! In the restaurant not very much. When we ate there, the first menu showed desserts for 4 euros. The second menu showed the same desserts for 5, and the bill told us 7 euros.overall cheap but don't expect more than that (dinner in the restaurant is too expensive)
