I booked this hotel thru Venere. Unfortunately we planned a trip to Rome sort of last minute & every place we wanted was booked. The price was 88 Euros a night & you get what you pay for. If you're just looking for a cheap place, you could do worse.
We stayed in room 10, on the 5th floor (no elevator). When you've been out walking all day, how much do you want to walk up 4 flights of stairs?
The room was tiny. I've been in my fair share of cheap european hotels, this was the smallest room yet.
The shower & bathroom worked fine, although there was just a curtain separating the shower area from the rest of the room.
The gal that worked the front desk during the day was nice enough, but the other people at different times weren't quite as accomodating & didn't speak English as well.
The bed was as hard as a rock. no extra blankets or pillows to be found. One really slim closet with no drawers or shelves. No hangers.
Breakfast is served at a bar nearby. Although the one day we got up early enough to make it there, the bar was closed so they gave us a few Euros to get breakfast elsewhere.
It is nearest the Vittorio Emanuelle metro stop. Bus 110 stops just at the end of the street. There is a grocery store around the corner that was even open on Sundays. This part of town seemed to have a little Asian enclave. A lot of Asian clothing shops & whatnot.
The picture of the outside of the hotel on this site did not look like the otuside of the hotel. I was a bit confused when we pulled up.
