This was our first trip to Rome, and the location of this apartment was very convienent. We had 2 teenage children with us, so the size of the apartment was very good. Having the Piazza Navona in front of the apartment made it very easy for the kids to go for gelato whenever they wanted! The small kitchen was great for keeping snacks and drinks available. We were able to walk to all of the attractions, including the Vatican and the Colleseum which are in opposite directions.
I think the only drawback was that because it was an apartment, and not a hotel or B&B, we did not have the ability to talk to anyone about where to go, where to eat, etc. We saw Serena when we checked in and then we did not see her again. There were many restauraunts nearby, but the food was very "touristy". We usually rely on references of the locals and we were not able to do that here.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay in Rome.
