The hotel is very very basic and the pictures are accurate - if you're after luxery this is not the place BUT the staff were great, very friendly and helpful, excellent customer service.

We went in winter and it was cold - they turn the heating on at 7.30pm as standard but if you ask them they'll switch it on straight away.

Great location and the restaurant just up the road was fabulous too!

We stayed at Hotel Castelfidarfdo in June 2006 - very easy to find, only a few minutes walk from Roma Termini, and the area is good, with some nice sidewalk restaurants very close-by. The owners were very quick to answer emails before we arrived, and were friendly when we got there. Different story a few days after we left and discovered we left a couple of items of clothing in the wardrobe - no reply to our email, but that's travel, I guess! Overall, I think that this was good value, a very cool lift to the 3rd/4th/5th floor, and good clean rooms. I'd stay there again.

Just came back from a weekend trip to Rome. Stayed 2 nights at the Castelfidardo Hotel. The rooms are OK, but the bathrooms are very small. They said the breakfast was included in the rate but it`s not served at the hotel. You´ll receive a ticket to have a coffee and a single croissant in the bars nearby. The location is very good. Just a 10 minute walk from the Termini Station. In my opinion it`s a bit expensive, around 80 Euro for a double room.

During our honeymoon we stayed five nights in the Hotel Castelfidardo. It is very good located, Piazza della Repubblica is in walking distance and around the hotel are some nice restaurants. The room was very small but ok for the price. The main problem was that it was very loud, not because of traffic but because other guests closed the doors very noisily.
