What a nice place to live Rome! We spent there one week and we really feel like home. This place is managed from a family, they told us, so everything is well done. They take care about clean, about breakfast (fresh croissant and rolls every morning, ham, cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt and homemade cake) so they doesn't leave nothing casually. Room are good, is a renovated 2 star hotel so is fine to stay in Rome (consider you don't stay in room many time) and for sure is clean (we didn't understand the reviews saying is not clean, anyway we found this place more clean than avg). The staff was ok, they help you with maps and suggestion for restaurant and museum, all what we needed.
But the best quality of Saturnia is the location.....remember location location location!!!
Is located in a very little street walking distance from all you need. You can forget the bus and the metro if you like walking, like us. Just in case to go to Vatican you can take metro, but for the rest forget it. And also is near the station but not in the station area, so we find this location perfect for all the week spent there.
We definetely recommend this place to all people want save money choosing a good quality.

Perfect stay in Rome. We book it on direct website after reading all rewiews on the web and definetely the best for room size, location and very helpful staff. We had a room on second floor, a new one, with flat tv and all comfort. But the best is the location and the staff. hotel is located near Colosseum but you can walk few steps everywhere at least to metro station to go to Vatican, but all the rest is close by. And the best is the staff. Gigi and Kali meke your stay really different from the rest. consider that check in with Gigi needs 20 minutes if you want. Is like a talking guide. They tell you everything you need to know about Rome, secrets, place to visit and not visit, so everything. This hotel is a three stars with comfort, location and staff of a four stars hotel. We recommend this place to people like travel.

I stayed at the hotel in September, after doing alot of research on hotels in Rome that were in our budget (€80 per night), this was the best option I found. Reviews were varied on alot of sights so I was a bit worried but for the price I couldn't resist, €80 B&B for a shared facilities room.
The hotel turned out to be great, very central-less than a 5 minute walk to Termini and a 10 minute walk to the Collesseum. The hotel is located on a busy road but the small road at the back of the hotel is great with loads of small bars and restaurants.
Our bedroom was newly decorated with sink, TV and minibar! The bed was comfy and the bathroom was only down the hall with a great shower and seemed to be free most of the time.
The only drawback was the road - Via Cavour was quiet loud but because we had a ceiling fan we could close the window/doors which were double glazed and blocked out most of the noise.
Breakfast was one of the best we had in our 2 weeks in Italy, the cappucinos are great, however I would avoid the eggs-they do seems to be left there overnight. There is cereal which I didn't get in anyother place I stayed in Italy.
I would definatley go back to this hotel as you cannot beat the location and price.

We stayed here for a night to catch a flight the next day. It was cheap and clean and very central. HOWEVER- our room face Via Cavour and was so noisy that I didn't sleep. So it could be fine- could be noisy.

We booked on internet and we didn´t realize how was central located this Hotel. You can walk all Rome from there. Room was ok, basic but new forniture and not too big but ok. Breakfast was more than the average, eggs, several juice, rolls, ham, salami, fruit, yogurt and croissant. But the staff make your stay special. They explain all about Rome and you can join all the city with their suggestion.
