The accomodations and hospitatlity were supurb. Marco, Catio and staff were extremely helpful with recommendations concerning restaurants, tours, sightseeing and transportation to and from the airport.

With just six rooms this guesthouse is quiet and intimate. The decor is a real feature, with antiques, richly patterned wallpaper and old paintings. Marco is extremely helpful, he even walked us to pick up a taxi and waited with us. He's a charming, urbane host. The location is very good - quiet but lots of local restaurants nearby and with good connections. Breakfast is served at a communal table, which is great if you like to meet fellow travellers but not so great if you're not a morning person and just want to come alive with coffee. The home made cake is a lovely touch, as is the owner's little dog, much better than a bland hotel.

A word of caution - we were advised by Cathy to get a transfer to the airport at 55 euro. However you can get a taxi (to Ciampino) from a nearby rank for 30 euro.

All in all highly recommended.

We stayed in Rome for a week and found the perfect place. The lovely quarter Trastevere is ideal for exploring Rome on foot. Marco and Gianna belong to the kindest hosts we ever met - plus they are always ready to give you helpful advice how to roam in Rome and find lovely places that are not mentioned even in expensive city guides. The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast is rich. We would never choose another place for a second trip to Rome!

This is an excellent place to stay. The rooms were clean and the upstairs rooms have an outside terrace. Our hosts and their staff went above and beyond in providing us with information about Rome and booking tickets for the Galleria Borghese. Nothing was too much trouble.
