We stayed at Albergo Giusti, a short distance from the Roma train station for two nights in the beginning of December 2008 at the very end of our trip to Italy. The nuns were very kind and helpful even arranging for ground transportation to the airport for an early morning flight. We asked for a room facing the courtyard and it was blissfully quiet. There is a small elevator which is handy. Our ensuite room was very large and absolutely spotless! It appears the guest rooms have been recently remodeled with beautiful blue and white tile bathrooms with modern fixtures and shower. The bedroom had a large almost queen size bed, TV, desk, spacious wardrobe, nightstands, an individually controlled heating system that kept us warm during the early winter evenings and plenty of room to walk around. We only had breakfast one morning which consisted of strong fresh brewed coffee, hot milk, or tea, fresh crusty bread, jelly. The sisters are from India and couldn't be nicer. We were able to use the computer and printer the day of our departure to print off our airline boarding passes which was very helpful. While not plush, you couldn't ask for anything nicer or more secure. Be sure to make your reservations well in advance of your departure to Italy as I started the reservation process (a series of emails back and forth) just a couple of days before we started our trip to Italy and I wasn't quite sure the reservation was completely secured until we telephoned the convent while in Italy.
