The location of this hotel was perfect, right in the middle of all sites !

Some of the staff were not overly friendly although you only saw them occasionally.

The rooms where nice and very cleans, the only problem i had was that there was no iron......surely everyone irons there clothes in every city. Even when asked we were told there were no irons in the whole of the hotel. Creased clothes for the whole weekend ! Not great value for money.

The Hotel is walkinkg distance to almost all sites. The breakfast in the morning was also very good but limited. The hotel staff was extreamly helpful espically the front desk staff.
The only thing that I had a problem with was the beds were REALLY hard and the rooms were on the small size for the number of people that is put into each room.
If you have more then 2 people and you arrive by air have the hotel arrange to you picked up at the airport it is cheaper the taking the train into town center then trying to get to the hotel by bus or cab. The hotel is extramly hard to find if you do not know exactly where it is at

My husband and I just returned from a week in Rome - our 4th visit. We have always had geat places to stay, but would have to say the Hosianum was the best yet. Perfect location - walking distance to most everything. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room immaculate, quiet and comfortable. The full breakfast buffet every morning was an unexpected plus. We only wished we were there in warmer weather to enjoy the roof top deck.

So far, the best hotel I've visited in Roma.
It is in a very quiet street near Piazza Venezia. Single rooms are small, but there's enough space, at least for a weekend or a business trip.
From a business traveler perspective, it lacks a free wi-fi service: that's pity, unfortunately most hotels nowadays don't give free wi-fi.
Unfortunately the hotel is not close to an underground station: not uncommon in Rome, however, since the underground cover only a small fraction of the city. The closest station is Colosseo, probably 15 minutes walk from the hotel. There are several buses stopping in the nearby, though.
All in all, I really liked the hotel. NIce rooms, good breakfast and very quiet neighborhood. I'll definitely come back in the future.

My wife and I stayed at the Hosianum Palace Hotel between December 28, 2008 and January 2, 2009 and could not have asked for a better place. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Ancient Rome, steps from the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, capital, Patheion, and Roman Forum. A half mile from the Collusium and Palintien's Hill. An easy 20-30 minute walk to the Vatican. My wife and I never used public transportation of cabs, everything was so close. Hotel offered a great contentinal breakfast of both hot and cold foods, much more then I was expecting. Room was impeccably clean along with the bathroom. Small quaint hotel with 24 rooms. Internet access is 3euro and hour. We had a room right off the elevator on the 2nd floor and never head anyone get on or off, in addition we never heard anything going on in the streets. Well worth booking if you are looking to stay in Rome. So close to everything yet very quite and peacful, could not have asked for a better place to stay.
