I stayed here for a conference in the convention centre near the Leonardo Di Vinci Airport, and it was one of the hotels recommended by the conference web page.

The hotel is modern and has a nice pool area, the room was comfortable and clean, but the air conditioning would switch on for a minute then switch itself off - not good when its 28 degrees.

It is also miles from anywhere. The nearest metro stations are a 15 minute or more walk, which is fine but the last tube is at 2230. But getting to the conference centre was a nightmare by public transport. Luckily the hotel did provide a limited shuttle service.

I would not recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Rome for a tour of the sites as it is a 25 Euro taxi ride to the centre and the main attractions.

I wish I had read these reviews before traveling! I was lucky in that my hotel room was clean, but like many others, the AC did not work, and because the insects were flying in, I had to keep the window closed at night. My biggest problem is with the horrible staff - the manager being the worst culprit! They supposedly offer a free shuttle to the train station that you could then take to the airport, but when I inquired about this on the day of my departure, the manager knew nothing about this service. On top of that, he tried to discourage me from taking it! He told me, "Take a taxi instead. It's only 80 euros." Actually, it's only about 40 euros, but what terrible service! He didn't even hide his impatient disdain in talking with me. I'm glad I get to write a bad review of this place!

Rooms clean and attractive. Appearance rather than function, lots of things didn't work, our fancy towel rail fell off the wall and the hose off the hairdryer.. No air con, though it was hot [ 27 c at night] They said to open a window Our window overlooked a building site, looks like an extension to the hotel. . They did put out nice fluffy towels each day. Some staff helpful, some weren't.
We were with a group, we got no choice of food for dinner. First courses were rather good, downhill after that. Breakfasts were OK, lots of choice. They did produce a meal when we [49 of us] arrived at 2am [ thanks to easyJet]
It is very hard to get out of the main pool, the steps stop short. of the top. The jacuzzi was only switched on once briefly, despite requests. The pool area was pleasant.
Be very careful buying a drink, a number of us were badly overcharged. Ask price first. They asked 18 euros for 2 gin and tonics, we were charged 10 euros for 2 small lemonades.
I think this hotel is run with single business men in mind. eg) the coat hangers were only good for trousers, none for skirts.

This hotel is ideal, if you are a single Italian businessman - because that is who this hotel is designed for. And, as with much that is Italian - it looks great, but things fall apart when you touch them!

On the plus side - it is clean, confortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful (our large party turned up at 1.00am, and they had dinner waiting for us)

On the downside - the air conditioning was not switched on because it wasn't summer (even though us poor Brits were suffering from the heat in late May!), the advertised internet connections are none existent (which seems to be an Italy-wide problem), and we were grossly overcharged at the bar (DONT buy mixers in bottles)

This hotel is a little outside of the centre of Rome, but the Metro and a local bus meant that it is still relatively convenient. There are no bars or restaurants nearby, and the views on the food at the hotel were variable.
