I returned from Rome early July, after leading a group of 28 students from the North East of England. We were welcomed into the hotel by helpful receptionists, once I allocated student's to their rooms (we were not supplied this information prior to arrival) i sent them on their way to check their rooms were okay and that there was no serious problems. Of the 14 rooms we were allocated at least 7 of them did not have working/or no security deposit boxes. These issues were reported straight away, however it did take at least 2 days for some of these boxes to be fixed/replaced. Not ideal for the students or us as staff.
The location of the hotel is brilliant, Termini station is a mere 5 minute walk away which was perfect for us. We spent little time in the hotel due to our busy schedule, however I always found that the hotel staff were receptive and would point us in the right direction when help was needed.
The choice at breakfast was good, although watch out for the coffee machine it's pot luck what you will get no matter what button you press!
Overall the hotel was perfect for our needs, however I wouldn't stay here again if i was travelling with family or friends. Many of the guests seemed to be students, and think this is where the hotel should concentrate their bookings.
