The staff at Hotel Giardino made our first trip to Rome wonderful. The rooms were clean and all of our needs were met. Views and location were also very convenient. I would recommend the hotel to all travelers. Thanks to all the staff!

Wow, what a hotel! The staff are a real asset in any hotel you stay in and the staff at Hotel Giardino went above and beyond their call of duty with information and advice for us! The rooms were absolutely spotless (and quite spacious considering the size of some of the shoeboxes you encounter in any European city!) The Colloseum, Pallatine and the Roman Forum are only minutes from the hotel and There are many excellent places to eat within a short distance of the hotel also (The bulk of them without the Dreaded "Menu Turistico" board out the front!)All in all the hotel made our stay in Rome just wonderful, and we will be staying there next time we go to Rome!

This hotel is at a very central location. We met up with a Roman friend and he commented on what a great location it is. It's right on the #64 and #40 bus line, which goes to St Peter's and is a great way to get across town. The room was simple, no luxuries. The bathroom was relatively new and more spacious than some others we experienced. The room faced the back of the building and was very quiet. We were right next to reception, so I was afraid it might be noisy, but it was fine. The bed was relatively comfortable. I expected simple, so the room met those expectations. The only complaint was it smelled of smoke, despite it being a non-smoking room. Breakfast was included and pretty good: coffee, break, croissant, cereal, yogurt. The front desk was helpful with anything we needed.

Hotel Giardino was a charming little hotel right within walking distance to just about everything. This was the only hotel on our 4 week trip to Italy that had a quiet and functioning air conditioning and it was the least expensive. The rooms were small, but clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would highy recommend this hotel.
