As a teacher-guide, I've planned a school trip with a class of the liceum I work for. After an accurate search in the Internet, I've booked five triple-rooms for the students and a single room for me at the Hotel Felice.
As regards the location I've chosen that hotel for its position in the city: Felice's is in fact placed nearby Termini, the most important railway station of Rome and because of its position the hotel is really well linked to every important place of the city by buses, trams and tube.
Before the trip I've had already planned the trip day by day with visits to monuments, the ancient ruins, St.Peter and museums. By the way I have to say a HUGE thank to the hotel staff: at the reception they have suggested me some integration to our visits such as the ruins in the ancient Appia (a glorious ancient street built under Roman Enpire) or the visit to Gianicolo (one of the famous hill of Rome by which there is an incredible view of Rome). Without these suggestions me and my students would have lost these wonderful places.
I has really appricieted the hotel staff suggestions: they had been really kind, and not only as regards our trip. Being in fact the teacher of 15 young students I was quite worried for the behaviour of the guys: thanks God the staff of the hotel has been really patient with them, even if some students have done some mess during the night.
As regards the hotel, the rooms are well done and clean. The Wi-Fi internet connection in the hotel is really useful because its free (no additional charge) and so the students have had the possibility to be in touch with their familiar using internet too. If I had to suggest an hotel in Rome to other teachers I would say for sure Hotel Felice. Really good ,kind and patient staff and a really good linked nice place. For the next year school trip I will book for sure in that hotel.
