Located fairly close to the train station (5-10 minute walk) so it was the main purpose for our choosing it. It's on the 5th floor of a building that's definitely not appealing. The room was clean, bare bones-definitely no frills and uncomfortable beds. Breakfast is the same every day (hard roll, sweet roll, coffee). If you're wanting romance, don't stay here.

The location was close to the central train station and most bus routes. The helpfulness of the staff was unpredictable. Some were more helpful than others. The rooms were always clean, a roomy bathrrom and breakfast was quick. It is located on the fifth floor and has an elevator. Good low cost hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel location seems a little intimidating in the begining but after a while you realized that's Rome, old, dirty and full of intimidating people. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Simple Breakfast coffee or tea and bread. Rooms and bathroom were cleaned. Room services daily. AC available in the room for 7 Euros per day. The hotel is very closed from Roma Termini, which was great as we used the train to go to Naples and Florence. The tourist bus company for site seing is also located at the terminal. Great price and great location.

The hotel is nice and the staff is friendly. The rooms are small, but sufficiently clean. Breakfast is very good for an Italian hotel, although it gets a bit dreary after a couple of days since the choice is small and always the same. The hotel is located centrally (about 10 minutes from Termini station), but you don’t hear any traffic noise. Being in the fifth floor (elevator available), the hotel room provides an awesome view over Rome. However, some construction sites close-by woke me up in the mornings. Air-conditioning is available, but has to be paid extra with 8 EUR per night (5 EUR if you stay longer). It takes a while until you get warm water (but you don’t need that in the heat of the summer anyway). Altogether, we had a pleasant stay in the Domus Mea and for central Rome it provides quite good value for money.
