The garden has lots of fountains as well, you need to pay to get into the museum/galleria. A lot of people jogs in the park, you can rent electric bicycle to get around and there's lots of birds in the park. Be sure to walk around the park, get a map.
World class museum of master pieces. A must to see. Greatly enhanced with a private tour. Our tour guide took the time to explain and point out many things that you would not see on your own. We couldn't begin to say enough about the Galleria Borghese. It is fabulous!
You need a reservation to visit, but it is not hard to get online. There are 2 hour time slots, so it is a bit of a hassle when you are wanting to be free with your timing. The collection of sculpture and paintings is wonderful and the setting is over the top.
