Arrived in this B&B straight from train station. A short walk, about 400m, and luckily I had read here it is a large brown wooden door. it is hard to find if you don't have this information. Make sure if you are going you have clear directions.
Couldn't believe the reception we received. We were met by Loretta who explained the room and keys etc but also had a pre-prepared map identifiying good restaurants and sight and how to get around. She spent about 10 minutes explaining this to us which was great.
Room was excellent. Nice and quiet and comfortable as could be. For the money it is excellent value. I had seen people complaining about tea/coffee facuilities etc - there is a machine in the hall. Get up and walk 30 feet...
My wife was delighted with the facility which is a good barometer.

Location is good, with most things in walking distance for us. We walk a lot anyway so this was not an issue. It certainly seemed like a safe area at night and we never felt threatened in any way.

I would recommed a trip to the trastevere region at night on the H bus . We went there for a meal and it is a very busy and nice area in the evening and apparently has the oldest church in Rome although we didn't see it.:(
Loved Roma and this B&B contributed to a satisfactory trip. Well looked after and execellent accomodation.

Breakfast is OK but hey, you are in Rome - plenty of nice cafes etc and for the price I would recommend this B&B to anyone.

Enjoy..

My wife and I spent three nights there after arriving by cruise ship, along with my parents and my sister and her husband. The hotel arranged for a limo pickup at the port and transport to the hotel as well as arranging a Vatican private tour, bypassing the mile long line to enter 'from the street'. As we were checking in, a delivery person arrived with flowers for my wife for Mother's Day, sent by our son in the States. They had no vase to fit them, so they sent someone out and bought a vase for our flowers and then unwrapped them, trimmed them, and arranged them in the vase, which was in our room after we returned from a Collisium tour. Flower clippings, water, and wrapping were on the dining area floor as we left for our tour and two of the staff were merrily working away on the flowers. I think this sort of says it all.

Breafast was adequate with orange and pear juice, coffee, expresso, cappucino, etc from an automatic machine, toast, pastery, etc. Self-prepared. Room was just like the web photos. Although on a street, quiet at night. Everything worked in the room and was clean. WiFI free access, as long as you want. English spoken, good security, safe in room, classic elevator to the fourth floor entrance. Relly nice people - felt like family immediately.

Several restaurants nearby - all good. Get advice from the hotel. Like having your own concierge service!! Enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely book there again.

The Imperial Inn is so pleasant, friendly and clean. Their staff made us all feel so welcome. We certainly appreciate their suggestions for places to see and how to get there. Veronica and June were fantastic, they certainly went above and beyond with his service.

Stayed for 3 nights after reading the reviews here.
This B&B is just perfect, great location just 5 minutes walk from Termini, and in a main road - so good for a walk at night.
We arrived in the afternoon, were welcomed very friendly, received a map and an explanation about the best things to see and do in Rome. The room was very big, the shower looked completely new. We stayed on 2nd floor (there is a lovely elevator!), and there's a coffee machine free, fridge with cold drinks also free, and breakfast in the morning with cornflakes, crousons, bread, jam, butter, yogurts - self service. Also a fridge in the room for personal use.
Great location, 15 minutes walk from spanish steps, 5 minutes from Metro and main bus lines.
much more than we expected - and a perfect stay.
