This hotel is the best of the ones we stayed in during our trip to Europe. It is spotless, historic with its marble floor and steps, and well situated to historic sites and local transportation. Some excellent restaurants are located within one minute's walk. The service is instant and cheerful. The breakfast is wonderful. I came with fifteen family members and they were very accomodating even with some young children.

So what's the drawbacks? They were never able to get my laptop to work with the wifi during the whole time (five days) I was here. I think they have some type of firewall that blocks out certain computers. All the other hotels in Europe had no problem with this.

Our bodet never functioned well, but this is a very minor problem as we don't even know how to use it.

That's it. Overall, it was an excellent hotel for the price we paid.

We had the poor misfortune of staying at Bellesuite in Roma, recently. While the hotel is quiet and appears to be charming on the outside, don't be fooled. The room we stayed in, along with the pathetic bathroom, left MUCH to be desired. I'll get the details about the bathroom out first. There was a large hole in the middle of the bathroom floor. It had a round, metal disc covering it, but it wasn't bolted down, so it slid off and exposed the hole leading to who knows what underneath. Yuck. The floor was dirty, with some hair on it, and the shower appeared to have been cleaned roughly in 2007. When I turned on the water in the unbelievably tiny shower, the floor immediately flooded because the drain was clogged. When my husband went to the innkeeper to get a plunger (yes, that's right, we took care of the problem ourselves), the boy didn't understand a word of what he was saying, and returned with a bottle of the Italian equivalent of Drain-O. My husband had to then go next door to the neighboring hotel. The innkeeper there, of course, understood, because he had common sense and had actually heard of a plunger previously. We then unclogged our own shower. As if the bathroom issues weren't enough, there were the metal blinds on the window in our room. When you raised them with the button (they were electrical), the retraction coiling function was not working properly and the blinds then proceeded to unravel in our room at the top of our window, complete with a very loud thud and crash. We had never experienced one of these before, but I am sure this was not what was supposed to happen. The breakfast buffet the next morning was less than desirable, too. I am glad one was included, and the cappuccino was good, but that is just about all the good I can report about it. It consisted of breads, yogurts, some cereal and one little plate of meat. The terrace where it was served was very pleasant, though, so at least the scenery was nice while we ate our dry bread and drank our coffee. When my husband went to tell the morning innkeeper about our misfortunes the night before with the bathroom et al, all he said was, "I'm sorry." No offer of trying to improve it for the future, no offer of a discount in our rate, no nothing. Thank goodness we only had to stay there one night. By the way, the aforementioned neighboring hotel in this review is the Residenza Cellini. Save your grief, spend a few extra Euro and rest easy there, instead. You will not regret it. It's our favorite in Roma and will not go anywhere else in the future when we are in Roma.

Stop looking for a hotel in Rome and stay here. The location is excellent and you can walk to most cite within 15 minutes. The hotel is close to the train station, subway station, grocery stores, and lots of restaurants and just about anything you need.

The staff goes above and beyond. They are friendly and more than willing to help you with anything. They greet you each morning in the lovely breakfast terrace with cappuccino, fantastic way to start your day in Roma.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable, lovely…..since this was our honeymoon, staff and management sent as chocolate and bottle of wine with compliments……very sweet of them!!!

This is our home away from home…….we will come again in Bellesuite Roma and highly recommend to all our friends.

The rooms were quite good, large and clean. The hotel is well-located, very close to one of the main streets in Rome.
Breakfast is also quite good and the staff is nice and helpful.
You really pay for what you get.

Close enough to Termini to walk, lots of restaurants near by, excellecent service, room (and especially bathroom and shower) were small.
