Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a week and I would not advise anybody to stay here. We had a late flight and arrived at the hotel only to be greeted by a smiling woman who told us "I have good news and bad news", they had no room for us due to some one of the guests getting stick and they decided to leave her husband stay in my room. The woman said she had arranged for us to stay at another hotel, so we had to get into another taxi and travel to the other side of the city for the night. In my opinion this was insane, why should we be put out because of this, could the husband not move to the other hotel!! Other than that the hotel is not a 4 star, its barely a 2 star. The staff are not helpful, the hotel is not central to any of the sights, its on a dodgy enough area (we were approached by a group of teenagers one night while walking back to the hotel). To sum it up, if you are looking for a central hotel, with good staff and in a nice location DO NOT STAY HERE.

Firstly, the rooms were spotless - small, yes, but I was travelling alone and just wanted somewhere comfy, clean and safe to spend my few days in Rome. It excelled in all of these and the breakfast was fresh and varied as you like.
On the second night there I took an allergic reaction and was very ill all night and after taking antihistemine got really panicky and upset and scared, as I was all alone in a strange city! The staff were unbelievably attentive. They checked on me regularly to make sure I was okay, both by phone and in person until I the medication had taken effect and I could settle down for the night, calmed me down and assured me they could get a doctor at any time I wanted one. They calmed me down so much and reassured me during what was extremely scary - I have had anyphylactic reactions before where my throat has closed over. Because I didn't speak italian, needless to say I terrified myself but they dealt with it so well!
Rome is beautiful and not somewhere you want to sit in your hotel all day and night but the rooms were clean, fresh and airy so were great for chilling out with a book when finished trekking round the sights all day!
Can't stress how grateful I am to the people who worked there, and how well they did their jobs.

  • Liked — i really enjoyed my stay - not often i don't pick holes but it excelled in everything that matters to me - convenient and spotlessly clean
  • Disliked — i didn't stay long enough

My husband booked this hotel and took me to Rome for my birthday as he knew I'd always wanted to go. The hotel is about 15 mins outside the centre of Rome, but the Metro is 5 mins walk away. Our room was small but perfectly formed, comfy bed, fully equipped bathroom and shower and very clean. We were on the 4th floor and there was no noise, from other guests or outside. Breakfast was included on a buffet system, very tasty and freshly made every morning. The area felt safe and just opposite a University so lots of people around. Rome was beautiful but expensive, although well worth the 3 nights we were there.

  • Liked — Cleanliness and friendly helpful staff
  • Disliked — Air con was hard to work!

Me and my partner stayed in this hotel for 4 nights, it's a nice hotel, the staff are friendly and the place is spotless, we found our room to be very small, and the shower well that was a puzzle it had the wierdest shower screen i ever seen, it covered half your body and had no ceilent on it, so every time we had a shower the bathroom was flooded that relly annoyed me... but apart from that the hotel was fine it had eveything we needed, its a bit out of the way from the sites but the taxi's are a reasonable price so we didn't mind that, plus it's good after a long day site seeing to go back to a quiet area... i would recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to rome site seeing....

  • Liked — It was nice and quiet, the staff made sure that there was no loud noise been made at any time.
  • Disliked — The bathroom, it kept flooding due to the ridiculous shower doors

i was in two minds about booking this review due to some negative feedback i found on the net, but i found a good deal and booked it anyway and i am so glad i did!the hotel is tucked away just off a main road opposite Rom's 3rd university so parking at weekends is not a problem at all, although hotel suggest leaving it in the road at the side of the hotel as it is more residential (or you can park in a private car park just down the road).hotel is modern and extremely clean. i booked the ''romance'' option and although we booked a double we got a triple room, found bath robes and slippers and a rose on the bed. 15 min after we got in we hav a bottle of bubbly and a plate with chocolates on ....also this ''romance'' offer allowed us to have a late check out... 2pm instead of 12 which is always nice! staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful!room and bathroom are in perfect condition and very nice!we asked where we could go for something to eat and they advised us on this restaurant we were picked up from the hotel and taken back once we had finished our meal..meal was lovely and placce and owners were v nice too..avarage price for nice food in rome!
pros:
perfect if you are coming to rome by car and don't want to do the touristy things
breakfast is fab there is everything even boiled eggs and toast!
location is literally 10min walking distance to the metro stop and metro closes at midnight.
free internet in lobby

cons
the lift.... a new lift has been put in and they expect to have it working in ab 10 days... so by beg dec 07.

would def go there again !

  • Liked — the comfortable fee to it
  • Disliked — walking up 4 flights of stairs....but weren't that bad !!!!!!!
