We stayed for 7 nights in the Bonampagni Suite, and cannot find a single fault with it. The staff are extremely helpful and corteous, and will do anything to help you.

Our room was lovely, great size, air conditoned, tv, hair dryer, dressing table, en suite bathroom, just everything you would need. Excellent price, it was about €85 per night for the room, a great rate.

Breakfast is served in the room in the mornings from 8.00 - 9.30, you are asked the night before what you want, and its always delivered on time. Continental breakfast and they give you plenty of food. One night we were leaving at 7 the next morning as we were going to Assisi, and they provided us with biscuits and carton of orange juice the night before, we were well impressed with that.

Its situated in a lovely quiet area of the city, we were only about 10 mins from the spanish steps,, 15 from trevi fountain, and about 15 mins the other way to the traiin station. Bus stops littered everywhere along the street also.

Near by we only went to 2 restaurants, but they were top class, Al Padovano on Via Bergamo 50/52, and il Pomodorino Via Campania 45/E, great food in both places, and staff were ever so helpful.

When we return to Rome again we will be staying at the Boncampagni Suites.

Just returned from a three day break in Roma, staying at the Boncompagni Suite . We would thoroughly recommend this small B&B for all short break visitors to the city. Why waste money on a hotel with facilities you will barely have time to use !
Good location, clean spacious rooms and above all helpful and attentive staff.

We have just returned from a four day anniversary celebration break in Rome. After searching the internet for hotels and bed and breakfasts in Rome, at short notice (we booked two days before we flew), we decided on the Boncompagni Suite. The reviews had been excellent and the photos looked good. We booked a double room and paid a very reasonable £325 for 4 nights. We arrived an hour before the check in time, and nothing was too much trouble for the receptionist, who said the room was ready, we could go straight to it just as soon as she'd looked at a passport. She checked the passport and completed a couple of details on a form and gave it me back straight away. We didn't have to show a booking form at all. We were taken straight to our rooms and given information about breakfast and general info. Breakfast is served between 8.00am and 9.00am (you choose each evening beforehand what time you want it the next day) and is continental and brought to your room on a tray. Each day we had juice, tea (we were offered coffee of all types, but prefer tea), sweet pastries, crackers, toast, jams and spreads, and biscuits - all beautifully presented. The room was en-suite, with a walk in shower, toilet, bidet and basin, and the floor and walls all marble tiled. The bedroom was large with a tiled floor, wardrobe, writing desk, chairs, large bed and smaller chair/bed if you had an extra person to stay. The window was large and double glazed and the bed and curtains all matched. Both receptionists (one female and one male) were so polite and helpful - always attentive and kind. The road the suite is on is just below the park and is a good walk away from the very centre of Rome, but worth it. We walked miles each day touring the sites, so an extra bit was no problem. We would not hesitate to stay here again, and would recommend it to all.

Really nice B&B - stayed there for a week. Clean, comfortable and in a very nice area - not bang in the centre but sites are within walking distance if you don't mind a bit of a walk. We stayed for 7 nights but for the last night they put us in a smaller room as a larger party were arriving - a little inconvenient but they did give us a discount. Breakfasts are a bit basic and could be improved with some fresh fruit or yogurt - it's all pastry and sugar so not the healthiest! But I would definitely recommend this place.

I travelled to Rome to get married in March 2008. On the recommendation of the priest at St. Patrick's Augustinian Church many of the wedding party stayed at the Boncompagni Suite. Our experience of it was very, very positive. The rooms are a good size, well fitted out, very clean and the staff are very courteous and obliging.

One or two reviews mentioned that the location is not ideal for tourists as it is 10 to 15 walk from the start of the sightseeing areas. I think that for the money and the location (very safe, well kept area) this is a great location. The experience of some of our group was that you can pay hundreds of Euros per night for accommodation in Rome and not get anything like the value offered by Boncompagni Suites in return.

The breakfasts are delivered to your room and are good. The bathroom is a pretty good size and features a good shower. The only slight drawback of the property is that it is on the first floor and while there is a lift I don't think it would accommodate a wheelchair user.

To finish up I could not praise the staff of this hotel enough, they really are the trump card of this establishment. They were so accommodating and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble for them. They heated our babies bottles every night with no fuss and even assisted us moving the buggies down the short flight of stairs. Stay at the Boncompagni Suites you won't regret it.
