Do not use this hotel - they took 225 Euro from my credit card after departure that was not authorised and even after six months of seeking a refund they refuse to acknowledge that it happened despite showing them credit card statements with the unauthorised debit and the broker we used talking to them on our behalf. The broker ended up exasperated and said there was nothing more they could do - this was theft, pure and simple. Don't get caught like we did.

I cant understand how the last review FAILED to mention that the hotel is practically built on a railway line... We asked to be moved to the front of the hotel which was a bit better.

The hotel is on a messy enough street and not a great area.. A double room was 125 euros,, which is overpriced for what you get. There is better value to be got in rome whether you a bit more or less...


good points - the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, its close to Testachio ans Aventine and a metro stop - Piramide...

This hotel lacks a reception area. Basically, you climb the five or so steps from street level, through the door and the lift is facing you. There is a small cubbyhole to the right and all registrations etc. are carried out here. It is a great shame as everything else about the hotel is above average.

There is a roof top terrace for breakfast which is refreshing. The rooms are basic, sparse but very clean. Beds are very comfortable and after all, there is so much to see in Rome that you only return to the hotel to sleep. The staff are so friendly and are a mine of information on things to do and places to go and how to get there. I have to say this hotel is spotless and we will stay there on our next visit to Rome.

If you are looking for value for money in a clean, friendly environment, this is the hotel for you.
