My wife and I visited Rome for 4 days.
After doing an extensive research for a suitable hotel in Rome, Italy, we came up with 69 Manin street B&B.
It was one of the most cheapest hotels in the category of 3-4 stars (around 100 Euros difference) and it offered first rate services.
We read a lot complaints about the room sizes in Rome, both in the lower class and even in the 5 stars range. However, this hotel proved an exception. For two people sharing the room there was enough space to accommodate 2 medium size suitecases and one didn't feel like a caged animal. The room also offered a small refrigerator and the ability to make oneself coffee or tea.
There was enough room in the closet and the bathroom was big enough with an excellent shower (even though we hoped to have a bath tab or jacuzzi). Even enough electricity sockets (for charging gadgets) and free internet proved a real treat.
Also the short walk from Termini station (2 minutes) is a real plus when using the Metro or the train.
Although the above may seem trivial, it appears that in Rome this isn't the case.
We would also like to praise the staff that was extremely nice and helpful. They made our stay a great experience and we wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
