We stayed here after reading good reviews from tripadvisor and venere.com and were simply happy with everything. The location of the hotel is in the heart of Rome where you have everything you need on the same street such as a gelato stand, a supermarket, restaurants, boutiques, pharmacies, cafes, churches, fruit stands, and even a McDonald's (if you really miss it). Also within close walking distance is Termini train station and not too far off are all the many monuments such as Trevi fountain and the Colliseum.

Francesca at the front desk made us feel at home from day one! Thank you for your warmth and excellent service! She and Maximo at the desk made each of our 4 days stay here truly special from their restaurant recommendations to their personal suggestions of where to find certain things.

The room was simply gorgeous! The charm of the room including the floor tiles were stunning and the size was unexpectedly large. We had a large queen/king bed and an extra alcove that had a separate single bed for our 4 yr old child with its own cabinet. There was a small stocked mini-ref and a large bathroom with shower and small coffee table and chair. Very clean, spacious and quiet since it was on the 2nd floor and facing the inner part of the hotel/courtyard. (Included pics with this review).

The neighborhood was very safe and we enjoyed strolling even late at night with our child. The hotel has a very small sign up front (easy to miss) and is located on the first floor inside a little charming building compound (1st floor in Europe is 2nd floor for us in the US) and although there is no wireless access in the rooms, they have it in the lobby and also have a laptop for guest use. They close the front door at night so you have to take the side entance on the side street but it was no incovenience at all.

Overall, we think we have found a hotel that we will keep coming back to in the future when we are in Rome. Their family-friendly service, excellent location, spacious comfy and cozy rooms with character, all translate into great value in a beautiful city.

I chose this hotel after reading reviews on tripadvisor : this was the only hotel with no negative comments!
We spent 4 wonderful days/nights in Rome and really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Extremely well located, very close to most sites, and in a pleasant shopping area. We got 2 rooms, one for us and one for our teenage kids and they were both good sizes , with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms.and quiet. The one thing to improve though would be the old tiny TVs.
The staff were very friendly and advised us every night to find nice restaurants in the vicinity (we were too tired to walk far or take a bus). In all restaurants we got great Italian food for a very reasonable price.
Breakfast was served in a small room, but we could always get a table and there was a nice selection of food.
I would definitely recommand this hotel and hope to be back one day!

Found this hotel via trip advisor and totally agree with all the positive reviews- the rooms were clean, quiet and well-presented, the location was great and the breakfast was very good. The staff were very polite and helpful and recommended what ended up being one of our favourite restaurants in Europe. A great stay. The shower was small, as mentioned by a previous reviewer, but really, who cares?

This hotel is very good, good situation, excellent staff - friendly and helpful. The room was large and well fitted. Bathroom looked new with excellent shower. Very good breakfast though the need to have BOILING water for tea is not really understood here, or at any of the cafes in Rome we went to. Good coffee though. The room was very clean and sheets changed 3 times tho' we were there only 5 nights.

There are tea and coffee making facilities in the bedrooms.

We had to be at Termini Station by 7.20 on the morning we left and they arranged for us to help ourselves to breakfast at 6.30. The hotel is 10-15 mins walk from Termini Station.

We'd stay here again if we ever have the chance to go to Rome again.

Stayed for three nights in October. Reception held our bags as our room wasn't ready. Room was nice - everything you could expect in a good hotel room, the only thing we thought was unusual was that the tea and coffee formed part of the mini-bar and you had to pay for it if you wanted it. The size of the room was good. Large entry, bathroom was huge, although the shower was quite small. Wasn't a problem and was average size by European standards. Breakfast was great with selections of cereals, breads, fruits, coffee, juices, toppings etc. The only problem overall was the noise. The street noise was extremely loud and I had to wear ear plugs two of the three nights which took the edge off it. The sirens went most of the night and you could hear the conversations of the people below echoing up. Other than that, everything was good, and the service was good. Great location for sights and for the stops of the hop-on-hop-off tour (recommend doing this - great value for getting around the city sightseeing for two days).
