The Hotel Gea is a wonderful, comfortable place to stay. The room was beautifully furnished with lovely artwork and drapery. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very modern and new. The carpet in the room was plush and felt great on our tired feet.

We found the receptionists at the desk extremely helpful and knowledgable. They gave us a detailed map of the area, and recommended restaurants, and tour companies to use.

There are safe deposit boxes at the front desk available for use, a breakfast that is included in the room rate, and a hairdryer in the bathroom.

Overall, a comfortable, modern hotel in an ancient city.

Selected this hotel based on reviews and wasn't disappointed. We arrived late at night to a very friendly receptionist who showed us to a lovely room that was spotless, with new furnishings and carpets, really tasteful and just the perfect comfort you need on a city break. Our room , no 24, was massive and the other rooms we saw being cleaned were a bit smaller but still all lovely. THe breakfast was great in a nice little breakfast room with fresh pastries, cereals, cakes, parma ham, cheese, toast, youghurt , fruit, juices and freshly made hot drinks. Can set you up for the day.

The location is also excellent, just 10 minutes from the station but in a really smart street - the hotel is the first floor of a building. we managed to walk from there to everywhere but the metro is 5 minutes away if you're not up to walking.

Really can't fault this hotel ....go there !!

The hotel is in a portion of what appears to be an old palace. Lovely! The service was very, very good and helpful. I liked the breakfast and should note that our room was HUGE! The bathroom looked brand new, covered in lovely blue tiles, and was also large.

The location was pretty good - near the train station (within walking distance, no need to take an expensive cab) and close to Trevi and other areas. There's not much right next to the hotel as it's a busy street, but that's fine.

We really liked this and may stay there again. Hard to find such a lovely, large and clean room with great service for this price.

  • Liked — The service and the large, clean, quiet room.
  • Disliked — There's no internet and there was no view.

A great hotel if you like clean well-priced accomodation. We enjoyed our one night stay here. The restaurant downstairs was great. Breakfast was fine and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Great!

This was one of the best hotels that we stayed in during our 3 weeks in Europe. It was definitely the BEST considering the price. We were a family of 5 and we stayed for 3 nights. We stayed in the 3 room family suite which was very large, very clean and updated, and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was well situated. We had our own private entrance off the street. I would highly recommend this hotel!!!!
