I stayed at this hotel for one night after staying in Orvieto for business for one week. The room was ok; it was large enough for one person, but the condition of the walls was very bad, though bearable. The bathroom which was shared among 5 rooms was very tiny, and the shower room was barely big enough to squeeze my body in. Forget about washing clean with soap in this tiny space! You can just barely get soaked with hot water, and maybe wash hair. The fact that the bathroom was shared was not a problem for me since there weren't anyone else staying in the same corridor.
You need to open the hot water valve all the way in order to get hot water, but you do get it.
The blind in the room was badly damaged, so I had very little privacy from outside the window.
Despite all these negative criticisms, this hotel does provide free wifi connection, which I was not expected. So that's a big plus.
All in all, this hotel is okay for a budget-minded travel if it is off season, but I wouldn't stay here for more than one night because of the terrible bathroom situation. If you are staying in Rome for one night for business reason, then this hotel may be acceptable. The rate I paid was 50 euros per night.
BTW, when the front gate is closed, you need to press the intercom button to the right of it labeled Hotel Texas. Once open, go to the right and take the elevator to the 3rd floor to find the reception.
