Our visit to Hotel St. Moritz started badly when I rang the Reception Desk asking for directions and was told to ask someone on the street! The hotel is not very well marked (hence us getting lost) and is accessed through a old, dark door (surrounded by walls covered with grafitti) up two flights of stairs. When we finally made it into our room we were hugely disappointed; it was pokey, dark, faced onto the main road and was situated immediastely behind the Reception Desk so was noisy with very little privacy. However, when we complained about the room we were immediately moved to a much larger room with a garden view.
The rest of the stay was perfectly adequate but nothing to rave about. The breakfast is basic and the hotel has no bar or restaurant. It is in a great location though, and we were able to walk to all the major sites easily.
If you want a central, no frills hotel, then this will do the job, but I couldn't reccomend it to anyone wanting a bit of luxury.
