“good stay as part of a group of Trafalgar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

excellent quality this hotel where we stayed few days ago as part of a group booked by Trafalgar .
We arrived in hotel early in the morning around 10 am and, with our surprise, we could suddely check-in, the room was ready for us and we really appreciate this attention arriving in Rome after a long trip of 10 hours. The staff was really very friendly and helpfull. Every morning we had a reach buffet breakfast , also with egs. The coach could park direct in front of the hotel, it was very comfortable for all the group . Our room was large and clean with a new bathroom with Jacuzzi shower. We have to thank Trafalgar for this good choice, this was perfect for all of us moving by coach every morning. We thank the hotel staff for the excellent porterage service they offer us. WI.FI. connection in this hotel was free of charge for us and for all group.
This hotel was to our satisfction and we will positive review it to our evaluation form to Trafalgar

The hotel appears to have been recently refurbished to a great standard, the superior rooms are excellent and offer great value for money for anyone prepared to travel in and out of the city (which wasn't an issue for us, the metro and bus services were very good).

The service from staff is very good. They all appear to be multilingual and like previous reviews have said they are helpful at providing onward travel arrangements and restaurants in the area. Everywhere is kept very clean. There is a nice little bar area behind reception that doesn't appear to get used as much as it probably should.

As one or two of the other reviews have mentioned, the continental breakfast is a little basic, but suited us really well for having a quick bite and leaving for the day.

They also offer free WiFi with the superior room. Only downside to this is that it continually resets itself, which is pretty common for hotels in the area.

The room itself was connected to one next door - which in itself is not a problem, but given the rooms are not carpeted and have high ceilings there is little sound insulation. This meant we could hear a little more than we wanted to from the next room! Not something that irritated us to the point of complaining though.

All in all, a very good stay. The value for money is excellent in comparison to what's on show closer to the centre of the city.

The Hotel's interior is stylish and modern and we were very impressed from the moment we arrived. We were greeted at reception by very friendly staff who drew directions on maps for us to familiarise ourselves with. They also suggested a nearby restaurant, which was perfect for our late arrival on our first evening and offered an amazing range of seafood and traditional Italian food. We headed straight to the health spa before dinner to relax after our flight then got a good nights sleep in our very spacious room. We actually had two single beds and a double bed, so you can imagine the size of the room! The bathrooms were very modern with a rainfall shower and fresh towels provided each day, a good hair dryer and complimentary toiletries.

We had an issue with our tv not working, which we didn't mind as we were rarely in our room, but we informed reception nevertheless and they kindly gave us free wi-fi for our room for the rest of our stay, which is normally priced at €20.

The breakfast consisted of many pastries and breads, cereals, fruits, meats and cheese. There were also a selection of hot drinks and breakfast juices. Basic, but all you need to set you up for the day ahead.

The location was great, had to get a bus (bus stop opposite hotel) everywhere, and everything is well connected to the metro system in Rome so all you really need is a map! It is a bit far out, but I think with everything in Rome, the more central you get, you either pay excessively more or get excessively less. The metros close at 11.30 and buses at midnight, but we got a taxi from Treve one late evening and it cost €20. Raganelli is a great balance, a little bit extra travelling each day is definitely worth the stay we experienced! If the Trevi Fountain works its magic, we'll definitely be choosing Raganelli.

the staff in this hotel is the power point , they all speak english and are guest oriented, Always friendly and ready to give good suggestion for restaurants in the area at cheap prices, for all public transportation to go to the city center and Vatican City, for intersting museum not very known from toursit.
The room we had was large and clean, with wi.fi connection , Tv flat screen with international channels ( CNN and BBC) . They offer a good service also at the breakfast room with a reach buffet and a smilling girl serving also italian espresso coffee, the best we had in Rome.
The bar area is small but very comfortable. The italian design is to be seen in all public area and in the room as well. For our children they gave a free of charge internet connection. We had no time to visit the heath center , just next to the hotel where the hotel guest, free of charge, can go and relax. good value for money for sure

arrived with a group of 42 persons, booked from Trafalgar at this hotel. From the first moment on, at our arrival in hotel we had a good level of service. The receptionist, in few minutes, sent in the room all people of our group and the luggages arrived few minutes after. The coaches could park just beside the hotel's entrance. The room was large and good equipped with WI.FI., flat screen TV with international channels. The breakfast was in American style, egs as well and the staff was friendly and always helpful. The hotel location was perfect for us, it was very comfortable to get on to the coach and start for our sightseeing. The Vatican City is at 10 minutes by bus.

a pleasant stay , we can say that we had at the Raganelli hotel. It is a modern hotel with an italian style combined with a german management style. good organized and hi tech furbished. On our arrival they gave us an iPad to keep during our stay for all internet connection in WI.FI. and this was included in the room rate. We had a double superior clean and comfortable room on the 6th floor. With the iPad we had the possiblity to check our mails and be informed on all news of our Country. The staff of all departments speaks english and it was very comfortable for us that we speak only english.
Every morning at the breakfast buffet , american style combined with italian products was a good start for a new day. In the evening we had our godd bottle of wine on the hotel terrace on the 5th floor. All was to our satisfaction even the price which was for us good value for money.
