Location - very close to Roma Termini which was good. It's a bit out of the way from the main attractions but that being said it was not far at all to walk.
On first impressions the hotel looked a bit sketchy as it is above what seemed to be a bank and you have to buzz in and then walk up 2 flights of stairs past a doctor's office before you get to the reception. Once there however it's a very pleasant environment.
The hotel is quite plush inside although you get the feeling it could do with a touch-up soon. The desk staff were extremely helpful and printed out a train ticket for us at the reception desk at no cost (as the computer with internet didn't have a printer attached). Internet access was 7 euros for 3 hours - good if you intend spending 3 hours on the internet but not such a deal if you want it for half an hour. As it turned out I had to do some work from the hotel and had to the use the computer which is situated in one of the main (narrow) corridors. I had to stand to use it and its location didn't lend itself to privacy.
The room was good with a large washroom. Some features of the room were a bit tired-looking - a lamp fitting hanging off the wall and some damp on part of the flock wallpaper. The bed was very comfy.
Had to pay for breakfast which was a bit disappointing.
