“Wonderful hotel in a perfect location!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2010

We stayed in this small hotel for 3 nights in August, 2010. It was the last of our 12 days in Italy and by far the finest hotel we stayed in for the price. The rooms were small but very well appointed. The air conditioning worked well and the building was very quiet. The entire hotel was very tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The location on a cute and quiet side street couldn't be beat for proximity to many attractions and great shopping. We never had to use public transportation while there except for an occasional cab. The breakfast was the best of all the hotels we stayed in. This will be our hotel of choice the next time we visit Rome.

Dear Guest
thanks for choosing us and forgive me if I answer only now. We had problems with the main server.
Our breakfast is homemade with biological material and in a few days will open the info point on one of the most beautiful streets of Rome: Via margutta that is quiet and is a pedestrian area so it's very quiet.
There are new features that you see on our web site. For exemple special offer.
We are pleased to have fulfilled your expectations.
We really appreciate your comments and hope to welcome you back.
Best Regards
Argentina Giovanni

It was an amazing weeked!!! The rooms were exactly as described on the internet, to the least minimun detail. It was perfectly located in the most sought-after area of Piazza di Spagna, and yet, tucked away from all the noise. Not to mention the fact that we had the metro-underground just around the corner - which is saying a lot in Rome! We were greeted by the very friendly staff on our arrival, and even on our depature, since we had an early flight, we had to wake up very early. Even though we could not have breakfast, the staff called a taxi for us and made us tea and coffee while waiting. The room was fantastic, beautifully decorated in matching satin burgundy-coloured wall-paper and cutains, just like in the picture! The breafast was very good and abundant!!! Great buffet! Even thought the hotel was not one of the cheapest, we certainly got our value for money, because it was amazingly clean, comfortable and fitted the picture perfectly! I would recommend this hotel, and if in Rome, I would definately go back to stay there, without hesitation! Grazie a tutti voi, a Hotel Manfredi !!

Location, clean, friendly, comfortable, wireless, great bathrooms and comfy beds!
We've been to Rome many times to visit family and this hotel beats them all! It's like staying at a 5 star hotel but hosted by a warm and caring staff. This hotel is owned by a family and run by the family.

It wasn't the cheapest hotel, but it was worth every penny (Euro, really)! Location was ideal - right by the Spanish Steps yet is not in the middle of the throngs of people. Staff was all very friendly and helpful too. It would have been a perfect 10 if soundproofing was a notch up, but it really forgivable, in view of everything else.

My partner and I came to Italy to get married and stayed in Hotel Manfredi (junior suite Manfredi) on January, 2010 for 10 days. We looked through reviews about hotel on the web and made a reservasion on hotel's official site. What can I say? The hotel is perfect!
1) location is great, quite street (very beautiful with numerous art galleries), only few minutes walk from Spanish Steps (I can't imagine better location in Rome because from this place you can reach all attractions and sights by foot);
2) very helpful and friendly staff, always smiling, always ready to help;
3) pretty good continental breakfast (fresh fruits, tasty cappuccino) ;
4) not big but well decorated (perfect for romantic stay) and well equipped rooms;
5) the hotel is quiet, situated on the 2nd and 3d(including breakfast area and receprion) floors, there is a small elevator or you can go up by circular stairs;
6) wi-fi is available but fee-paying;
7) bathroom in this suite is great and relaxing;
8) they don't have a reastaurant but there are a lot of places to go for dinner around;
9) there are no slippers and bathrobes.
We had a great time in Rome and in Hotel Manfredi, hope to visit both again!:)

Hotel Manfredi was a great little hotel in my new favorite city, Rome! My husband and I traveled along with another couple to Rome at the end of November. We spent five very comfortable nights at Hotel Manfredi and will definitely return when in Rome again. The location is absolutely perfect; on a lovely little side street just minutes away from The Spanish Steps and the best shopping street in Rome. Fashion savvy individuals might be interested to know that Manfredi is located directly across from Miu Miu.

We opted for a superior room and found it perfectly suited for us. The decor is quite classic, but it is obvious that it was done very recently. The rooms were very, very clean and nothing appeared old or out of date. There were plenty of extra pillows, blankets and towels. Although not incredibly spacious, the size of the room was just fine and above average compared to rooms I've seen in Paris, Florence, etc.

The breakfast buffet was super- fresh fruit, cold cuts, cheeses, jams, boiled eggs, pastries, homemade yogurt, cereals, etc. Moreover, the dining staff was extra nice to our group as they always happily served us even though we constantly showed up for breakfast just minutes before it was about to finish, and even a morning or two showing up several minutes after the posted hours.

In all, Manfredi was the perfect stay.

My wife and me went to Rome, together with eleven friends, to celebrate a birthday. I had looked at different hotels through Internet (no hotel booking sites) and found hotel Manfredi to suite our needs. The presentation looked good but you can’t be sure that in reality everything is at it says. We booked the Margutta suite one superior room and the rest classic standard doubles.
I asked the hotel to do some preparation (flowers, welcome cards, welcome reception with snacks, sandwiches and so on).
I must say that the hotel looked as nice as in the description on Internet.
Or even nicer!
The location is on a quiet street close to the Spanish Steps. We walked from the hotel to the main attractions as Fontana di Trevi, Panteon, Colosseum, The Vatican, Campo di Fiori, and Piazza Navona. And the shopping streets were just outside the hotel.

The staff were very helpful, the service superb and everything was according to my wishes. Breakfast was very good, with fresh fruit and my wife specially loved their homemade yogurt. The Suite Margutta was fantastic; we loved every moment there. The classic standard doubles was small (what the heck, the similar rooms in New York are also small). All rooms were very well kept, perfect to the smallest details with superb design. We thought we stayed in a five star hotel. We stayed five nights in January 2010 and it was quite cold outside at night, but all the rooms had excellent heating. Hotel Manfredi occupies second and third floor of an old building with an charming old elevator. We all loved every minute of our stay.
All of us warmly recommend Hotel Manfredi!
